  1. My daughter's doc said to wait at least 6 months and then start with something like a quarter of a cup. I am of the opinion that it was too much, too soon. I'd wait a few more months and try them again in a small amount. I will add that you probably shouldn't have them more than once or twice a week in the beginning.
  2. My foot/toe which I broke when I was 16 always gives me trouble when we head into cold/dry weather . . . but not coming out of it.
  3. I've never had one but was there for my husband's and daughter's . . . neither remember anything and both were pretty loopy for a bit afterwards. No problems with eating afterwards. If I remember correctly, both of them just came home and napped. Next day was totally back to normal. I'm glad you don't have to wait until April.
  4. Did you remember to get vanilla?
  5. That's amazing Em!!! I'm so glad they didn't give up . . . and what they are learning in the process can't be taught in school. YaY for them!!!
  6. The Pamela's Pancake Mix is excellent. The cooked pancakes freeze well (separate with wax paper) so make a batch and eat some/freeze some. For a "sausage biscuit" fix, I will wrap a small pancake around a turkey sausage link. (I will make some of my pancakes on the small side so that I can do this.) My kids go through phases where they will take a pancake...
  7. I think you're going to have to make it yourself. I'm a person that will "wing it" based on the list of ingredients...but if you want a recipe to start with, you could start here: www.mushroom-appreciation.com/golden-mushroom-soup.html (link wouldn't work, you'll have to cut and paste this address into your browser) It includes milk which I would...
  8. Just looked up the ingredients: Beef Stock, Water, Mushrooms, Tomato Puree, Wheat Flour, Modified Food Starch, Salt, Sauterne Wine . . . . So yeah, our suggestions are nothing like it . . . I don't know of another product like that . . . I'll look next time I'm at the store.
  9. Your ingredients look fine so I think it would be an issue or cross contamination as mentioned earlier . . . or you need more time to heal . . .or sensitive to something else. I will also add that when my daughter first went gluten free she had a hard time with tomato products . . . kind of tough for a girl who eats ketchup on EVERYTHING. She didn't have...
  10. Like Lisa, I have used the Pacific Natural soups (Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Chicken). These are condensed soups. I've also used Progresso's Creamy Mushroom for certain recipes. It's not condensed and the mushrooms are slices and therefore "recognizeable". I actually have to puree it when I use it because nobody in my family will eat mushrooms . ...
  11. I had the same thing happen. Cleared the cache/history and I'm back in business. (I'm using Firefox)
  12. One of my favorite places!! My daugher always orders the (bunless) little bacon cheeseburger. Our only complaint was that the cheese always melted (desireable) and stuck to the foil (undesireable). Last time we were there, we told them and they told us to order the cheese on the side . . . the cheese came wrapped separately and she put in on the burger...
  13. Hope everything goes smooth today . . . and hope you get some answers!!!
  14. Yeah . . . not like I was going to send you on a quest for the holy grail since Monty Python already did that . . . just thought you might be able to be invited to the same parties as Elton John . . . and you could make people call you "Sir Vincent" . . . or "Darth Vydor". Now you're kickin' yerselph, aren't ya? . . . well, it's too late!!
  15. Hmmmmm . . . well, it is Halloween. Slow here, as well . . . not outrageous . . . but slower than pre-update. Also . . . just a suggestion . . . you might want to move the Report button or change it's color as you might get some unintentional reports by people who are just trying to quote/reply . . . but maybe not.
  16. Vincent . . . so nice of you to get them some help . . . from afar. I might have to knight you or sumptin'.
  17. I want to say that I have seen alphabet cookie cutters at Michael's. They were Wilton's, made of plastic, in a cylindrical plastic container in their Wilton Cake decorating area. I think you can print out a 40% off coupon from their website to save some money. Why do the chicka chicka boom boom trees have to be made from food? . . . what a mess. They...
  18. Yes they are!! Thanks!!
  19. Reports from two Brothers-In-Law . . . One in Rhode Island: Water came to about an inch below his front door but never made it in to his cottage. No power and not expecting any for awhile . . . just grateful his furniture/belongings/home are OK. Second in Virginia: No power but they have a generator. They are out in the country, lost several trees which...
  20. I see Patti . . . <waving frantically> . . . How you doin'?
  21. Click on the blue folder in front of the thread name and it will take you to the first unread (by you) post in that thread. If you just let your cursor sit on the blue folder, it will even tell you than.
  22. My daughter is Winter. 27-25-25-23 . . . ??? . . .
  23. I thought the ID made it through the washer OK . . . you didn't send it through the dryer, too, did you? Cake for dinner sounds good!
  24. Just want to wish all you Easterners good luck and Stay Safe!!! We are apparently sending power crews your way.
  25. Happy Late Birthday, Em!!! I don't think you East Coasters will need a leaf blower . . . from the way it sounds, it's all going to blow into the midwest. Em, can I borrow you new leaf blower? After you're done wif it, of course.
