    Well, it wasn't like it was anything that special . . . I did a pork loin (never did a pork loin before, only tenderloins). However, instead of dry and chewy (like I make my roast beef ) it was moist and tender . . . Also had roasted potatos/carrots and sauteed green beans/mushrooms/onions . . . AND (and this is a big one) it all got done at the same time...

    Happy twenty ten youse guys!!! I slept about 9 hours last night (that's a LOT for me). Briefly awakened at midnight by neighborhood fireworks but went back to sleep immediately. Suze, were you banging yer pots and pans at midnight last night? . . . and Suze, I do agree that when you eat sweets you have to eat some salty to counteract but next time...

    Having the in-laws over for supper. Sparkling grape juice for all (everybody is on some kind of "no-alcohol" type medication except hubby and he'll just have a beer). They'll probably leave close to 9. Also doing X-mas presents as this has not happened yet with the in-laws. Tomorrow, I'm chopping taking down the Christmas tree.

    Ummmm . . . nobody was invited . . . . . . I was just going to see if I could get Em here by dangling a carrot wine bottle in front of her. If I get her to show, I'll give you a call. It would certainly be more fun to have help going through stuff/junk/tatt . . . If anybody comes to help me, I will guarentee free booze.

    I saw them at Best Buy before Christmas . . . . . . not something I would have thought I could have picked up there. FIL called last night and has invited himself and MIL and BIL (that I haven't seen in 15 years) over . . . house hasn't been dusted since before Thanksgiving, still unpacking from the Christmas trip, pile of about 10 garbage bags full of quarentined stuff from the delousing stuff still...

    Don't know if you've already had the party as your original post was two weeks ago, but this was going to be my suggestion as well. I don't think the kids would care one hoot where they get to have a party. It's just plain exciting to have something different going on at school. As far as an option for what your son can eat . . . one of the alternatives...

    Yeah . . . I've mentioned TMJ to him. I think he thinks I'm not in enough pain for that. We'll see what he says tomorrow. I would kind of like to get some sort of jaw x-ray. It's been long enough now that I'm starting to get worried that something is seriously wrong . . . I really don't thing there is, but the mind does wander . . . I'm a hypochondriac...

    Been having problems since before Thanksgiving . . . all my teeth hurt but mostly my molars . . . even where my wisdom teeth were gets achy sometimes. One of the worse locations is the tooth that had a root canal. Dentist thought it was stress (clenching and grinding). I'm wearing a mouth guard at night but it didn't/doesn't help. Next Dentist said I...

Roads started getting bad about 100 miles from home. Took us three hours for something that should have taken 1 1/2. Saw a pretty bad accident and loads of slide...

    . . . and bubble wrap the chidlins. Well, that's just crazy talk!!! Jess, it's awfully early in the morning to be drinkin' . . . unless of course you're still drinking from last night. Headed east in about an hour. This is normally a 10 hour drive but our endpoint got about 20 inches of snow on Saturday so we'll see how this goes...

    I just have to say that when I started this thread over two years ago, we didn't have the option that Peter is demonstrating (for which we are thankful 'cause I get to add cute little pics in my signature). However, it would be easier if the green guy was in our emoticon pool.
