  1. Yup. I have green/blue/brown/hazel eyes (depends what color they want to be that day) and use multi-tasking neutral and I love this one! Last night I went to a contradance and just only that over my whole lid (wanted to look natural... ) and I loved how it looked. So... today I'm wearing the Once Again blush (I think that's the name) and I love this...
  2. Sherry, I know my allergist was talking about doing a transdermal DMPS and transdermal mineral cream with me for chelation depending on my results from the IV. I haven't researched it, but it's a though. Kassandra, You look FABULOUS in your picture!!! :D Jin, I'm pretty sure the nausea was either a herx or candidia dying... I need to get...
  3. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!!!
  4. I have the best makeup story ever. Last night as I was going upstairs I heard my sister say not-so-innocently, "No... I haven't been playing with your makeup!" Apparently she had taken and applied every single eyeshadow color I have! And as she has no a clue how to do that... well, I was laughing so hard that I could barely breathe. ...
  5. Sherry, I also look forward to seeing what your doctor has to say about your results. I'm sorry they're not better. Birdy
  6. It has a little orange in it, but it doesn't have much color at all (I was very puzzled the first time I put it on ). It's more of a sheer brown (with a slight orange tinge) with a lot of gold sparkles. I've heard it goes wonderfully with In The Garden.
  7. Well, the purple eyeshadow idea kinda fell apart when I came across my (hitherto unused) container of Photo Album. I put that across the lid, and Oasis (my new favorite ) on the lashline (I need to look up makeup eye anatomy ). I'm also wearing Jump Rope blush.
  8. Rachel and Donna, Yay for great news (of whatever kind)! Nyxie, *munches some of the chips* Although I already had my scheduled minibreakdown. I'm still invited, right? All of this information about the emotional side of wellness is fascinating. Sherry, I'll be pming you about that article. Birdy
  9. Donna, THAT'S SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!! *tosses party for you* How about a makeup slumber party for one of those insomniac nights? lol: But, seriously, woohooooo!!!!!! Aww... that's so cute! I love Silver Spoon. I use it all over my eye, with Mystic Night... where my eyeliner would be, only wider. I can't see your avatar...
  10. I was diagnosed clinically with Lyme today. None of the bands on the Western Blot came back positive, but I got a (very strong) positive for Ehrilichiosis. So based on that, my history, and my symptoms I'm starting treatment! Birdy
  11. Hi Everyone, I just sent out the email. If anyone else wants a copy, just PM me. To generally sum up: I was diagnosed clinically with Lyme, I have a positive Ehrlichiosis test (so we know I have at least that coinfection!) and h. pylori test. I also have strep at the moment. The LLMD put me on Zith and I have so many scripts for bloodwork and...
  12. It's from Designs for Health (20% oleuropein). Thanks! I should probably start collecting email addresses to send out my report to. So... please PM me if you'd like it.
  13. Hi Everyone. Thursday I got together with one of my friends (who I converted) for a makeup-fest. I love the combination of Wild Flower/Shopping Spree/Mystic Night. Also, my new order came in Friday, and there was a dance yesterday, so I wore Baby Bath/Oasis and Plumb Dust blush. Now I'm working on converting my mom and sister. Kassandra...
  14. Julie, Thanks for posting the spoon theory. I love it... Emotionally... I've been in counseling for years (using NET (Neuro-Emotional Tecnique)), and we additionally know I had a vanishing twin. It's definitely had a positive effect on my overall health. Also, when I suddenly became sick about two years ago a lot of different emotional problems...
  15. April, I emailed Dr. Amy and the person who answered my email (although she couldn't give me any recommendations for an ART practitioner in my area) suggested setting up a phone appointment. I'm not sure how much they could do over the phone, though.... Birdy
  16. Yes! I've been getting quite a bit of air-hunger-like symptoms. I'm not sure if it's air hunger or asthma, though. St. John's Wort and Valerian are both good for this. As well as Chamomile (not quite as strong), but St. John's Wort has some known drug interactions. Maybe you could look into some aromatherapy-type things. Ylang Ylang, Lavender...
  17. I've found some great natural mascaras at Open Original Shared Link. I'm using the Beauty Wise one. Although it has jojoba... and I think that's irritating my eyes. Julie, I saw the things Kassandra listed, and am probably going to start using a diluted ACV toner, but the Oil Cleansing Method is actually a method of cleaning your skin with oil...
  18. I was looking for a list like that earlier today. I'm going to be trying out the Oil Cleansing Method. Hopefully I won't react to castor oil.
  19. I love them. It's so nice to have a makeup I can wear everyday. I've been having a ton of fun with the eyeshadows. I'll have to look into that... maybe my next purchase. I'm going to try just using the foundation for a while... mixing in the matte. Hopefully this will help. I'm also shaking up my beauty routine. Which is rather difficult...
  20. Hi everyone, I'm here to confess to being a closet EM fan. I currently have: Cool-Multi-Tasking Neutral Tinted Silk Dust Deep Wine (too dark... maybe I should try reading the description before buying it ) Nick Nack (sample) Eyeshadows: Spin Cycle Wild Flowers Exhale Baby Bath Well Being Mystic Night Comfy Silver Spoon Scented...
  21. Mia, I don't use prescription Digestive Enzymes, I use BioSet Protein Digestion and GastroCalm. They've been very effective for me. Jin, Congratualtions on starting your makeover! I can't wait to see your new picture!! Carla, That's wonderful news about your day! *tosses a mini party* Julie, I hope your vertigo lets up soon. All...
  22. Hi Everyone, I'm just hanging in here, doing fairly well, and waiting for my next dr's appointment. Like Nyxie, I'm not feeling particularly talkative right now. Birdy
  23. Rachel, Amazing news about the coffee!!! :D Lisa, Congrats on your coffee "experience." Everyone, I saw my allergist today, and we talked about Lyme and doing a provoked urine collection (or whatever you call it! ) to get a baseline for metals. He also ordered some blood work to test for toxicity (from Lyme and mold). I think it went really...
  24. Hi Everyone, I've been floating around for a while now, slacking off on posting. Friday I had an emergency appointment with ND because my skin was breaking out into a very itchy, p%$#@# mess. We discovered it was all the toxins, and she tested me and there were only 5 metals that I wasn't reacting to/toxic with. I had a foot bath, but it wasn't...
  25. Rpm, If you live in Western PA, then "Advanced Integrative Medicine" is a place I have been a patient at for... 11 years. They do BioSet there, both practitioners are very knowlegeable, and the doctor there is good.
