ARCHIVED Picked Up Some Neem, Will Let You Know How It Goes.

I feel a lot better today. The bloating is very minor, and my intestines impressed me as soon as I woke up. -

The bloating is back full swing and all I've eaten today was roast chicken. What a crappy weekend. I ordered some acidophilus pearls and will take them as soon as they come in the mail. Hopefully one of the damn things will start to work. -

Something may be working. My stomach no longer feels like it's on fire and my bloating is like 30% gone. I can actually kind of suck my stomach in where it is supposed to be. Kind of. But it's better than the permanent ballooning I was dealing with earlier. In other news my face has gone really puffy! What the hell? I look like a huge dumbass! Oh well... -

Yeah, I know. I will never do that again. I've been substitute free and all natural in the past. Just need to find something good for a refeed. If I can't eat a whole bunch of sugar, I'm cutting out all grains, and all substitutes what will I eat that's heavy in carbs that aren't just fructose? I think even rice bothers me, but not sure. Pretty sure potatoes... -

Still going strong. Called off work today because of the pain. Then later I ate my one leftover probiotic soy yogurt which got me onto a sugar rush. Couldn't really help myself (well I could. I'm pretty disappointed in myself but I understand) because I haven't been eating much at all lately. I ate a bunch of gluten free cereal (arrowhead buckwheat flakes... -
ARCHIVED Chronic C Sufferers: Have You Tried Tactical Fibering?
Pyro posted a topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
When I finish this Neem, if I still have problems I'm going to try this. For as long as I can I'm going to study my habits greatly. See if there is a pattern. Maybe it's every two days, I don't know. I never really focused on it as much as I cursed how bloated and uncomfortable I was. If I can find some pattern, I'll try taking fiber close to the end... -
If you can, get almond fresh ground at the grocery store. They do that here around Portland. It's great, but having a big jar of it causes more problems than it helps. It's easier to just have a serving for when you want it than have a big stash gnawing at the back of your mind. Besides, I feel it goes bad fairly quickly even in the fridge. My worst...

ARCHIVED Kinnikinnick Plain Bagels

What?! I was mad that I wasted $5 something on them. I wonder if they are jacking up prices to deal with losing a bunch of fans. -

Their chocolate dipped doughnuts used to be fantastic last year, but I tried them again this spring and they were god awful. Totally a shame. I definitely had hope for that company, and if you've noticed they actually switched to more expensive packaging and stuff thinking they would make it. But with their product tasting the way it is now, I don't think... -

For the last couple of days I've been a mixture of fine, and weak. Then later in the evening I get really bad acid reflux. I've been going but kind of weakly. Right now I have C and it hurts my abdomen. BTW I've been going to work through all of this. Much better IMO because I get to be miserable at work rather than on my weekend. Hey, it already sucks... -
ARCHIVED Info Wanted About Picazzo's gluten-free Pizza, And Garlic Jim's gluten-free Pizza
Pyro posted a topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
A month ago or something like that I decided to pick up a Picazzo's pizza out of curiousity. IMO it was really bland. Eating the crust was like eating an overrated cracker. And they put barely any topping on it (of course I had to be cheese free, but they even skimped on things like the mushrooms!!) which was completely stupid considering the price. Even... -
ARCHIVED Where To Draw The Line With Wheat Free Or gluten-free Foods?
Pyro replied to GF avenger's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Enjoy life makes good granola if you like that: Open Original Shared Link What I like the best, and found out this week, for snacks are these. After eating this and having them go down easy (unlike something from Ener-G, Kinnickinnick or something): Fresh ground almond butter + Organic applesauce. Mix it very very well and use it as a fruit dip... -
ARCHIVED Greens Powders
Pyro replied to chirunner's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I feel horrible for you. Most greens powders claim they are gluten free but they use WHEAT GRASS!! They think since it's extracted that it won't effect anyone. But many people still have problems. I have yet to find a wheat grass free greens which is bad. -

I've been having non stop D since I posted about it which is either a good thing or a bad thing. On one hand, it's kind of relieving for a chronic C sufferer, but on the other it's absolutely revolting and embarassing. -
Weird, I had cravings for fishy fish today too. I picked up a scallop and a tuna steak. Well worth it/

I always find it useful to share opinons on food, especially considering the crap we have to buy is expensive. So here are the things I've tried from them. So Delicious Line Chocolate Peanut Butter: I'm really angry at myself for letting myself eat this considering peanuts cause me problems. But at the time I was really intent on testing myself. Oh... -

Well for the past two days I've been feeling awful. Weak, emotional and sickly. Last night it was hard to sleep because of stomach pains which carried onto today. But then just now I had a large amount of D (sorry for the detail..) which is either a good thing or a bad thing. I chalk up the cause to these possibilities: Splenda. Even though I am cutting... -
I had a serious problem with that. Since it was only ME buying things it was worse. Instead of letting them expire or "degrade" in the freezer I almost always end up eating the whole thing. Definitely not good. Definitely glad I'm cutting them out too.

I still am taking RevitalX and will have some probiotics over the next couple of days, so I'm not worried about that. I looked up the other things in your signature and am not really interested after reading into them besides Intestive and Pepsin GI. Though I would need to order those online if I wanted them. I think I'll see how this neem goes first. -
ARCHIVED Gimme The Lowdown On Stevia
Pyro replied to mythreesuns's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Just FYI, today I was pretty hungry for some chocolate and all I have in the house right now is unsweetened powder for baking. I happened to have some stevia on hand, and decided to toss a little bit on a spoon to mix with the chocolate and it was really good! I like it a lot and am happy that I don't have to drive all the way out to the store for a chocolate... -

I picked up this kind: Open Original Shared Link And will follow the directions: take 2 three times a day. Another forum member claimed this STOPPED her bloating. With bloating ruining a majority of my days, I'm really hoping for something to work. Since the dose is so high, my bottle should run out in about 2 weeks (100/6 is 16 days) and... -
Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that there IS hope out there/ share that blissful feeling of finally being "done". Today I just got over a mysterious glutening or caseining or whatever it was that left me bloated, irritable, and constipated for THREE WEEKS. Even though I've gone through it before, it always seems like a new and impossible...

Anyone else have any info? For awhile there I was having problems with making it mix but then I learned the best way. Get your milk substitute ready beforehand THEN get your revitalx scoop ready. Before you plop it in, kind of compress it in the scooper. Then plop it in and shake really quickly in a shaker before it has time to really touch the walls....

So far it's been helping mildly. Yesterday I took it twice with a smaller dose the second time, and today I'm only taking it once. I don't really know where the sweet spot is, but I'm worried about taking too much both because of money concerns and I don't want my body wasting all those vitamins. In the future I might do a detox or something on it even...
