  1. I really think there is something to this SCD. First off, if some of us people who have bad villi eat grains it may not digest well...giving food for the bad bacteria to eat. I was reading about the Okinawans..how they mainly ate sweet potatoes for their carbs. Also reading about theories of what led to the early humans... they think they probably discovered...
  2. i was thinking about your thread today... i think its just a lot of nicotine u smoked...causing you to feel bad. this happened to me 3 years ago before i ever smoked. i smoked 2 american spirit cigarettes (which are high in nicotine) and I felt sooooo bad for like 45 minutes. i bet thats just what happened. i don't think it was gluten.
  3. Right... I think what might be key is drinking it during the meal... so that its all mixing in your stomach with your starchy foods that have lectins. Or whatever foods the alcohol helps mix with.   6. The point I was making was, if alcohol can help dissolve and keep lectins off of the villi...then it may be helpful as a daily thing... to just keep the villi clean. I understand your point about the liver. But for people that don't have much villi to begin with, seems keeping them clean is important.

  8. Chasing, organic would just mean that whatever they fed the dairy cows was organic. So they could feed them organic, as opposed to conventional, wheat. See what I mean? Still gluten even if organic.

  12. Hi AliB, sorry for repeating if already asked... but have you tried eating PURELY grass-fed say, goats milk? And does it make you feel bad, mess up your system? Just curious... Do you think its possible soy and gluten derivative could get in milk of animals causing us problems? that is why i asked..

  14. I personally wonder what the life-cycle of -a- villi is...like how long is it alive before it dies and a new one is regenerated. This would be something interesting to find out. Another interesting idea is this... in relation to dogtorJ's ideas... Lets say celiac/gluten people have hardly any villi...because the immune response has killed off/destroyed...
  15. haha.. i had a glass earlier after i rushed to the store after understanding this... and i'm about to have another one... i never really did like alcohol much...but a few years ago i tried to drink wine moderately everyday seeing that it was "healthy" and i actually did become more healthy. maybe this is why..
  16. Right! Well...lets theorize more... Mediterraneans mainly drink wine with meals, not beer. Beer might not have the same qualities, or alcohol in general..I don't know. Maybe there is just something special about wine. It might be why also many traditional cultures would ferment grains/soy/corn... because during the fermentation process alcohol would help...

  18. You know, that may "make sense" on a logical viewpoint...but thats assuming everything you said is true. I just don't think we fully know what is true... For instance they say eating meat with antibiotics is bad because it can get in you and kill off bad bacteria etc.. Either way I'm going without anything that eats soy or wheat for now on!
  19. This is crazy but makes sense. I remember 6 months ago I was eating all raw. Vegan. I decided to start including raw eggs in my diet. I was just perplexed why I would have bloating from raw eggs...sometimes feeling tired. And now I think its because of the soy and possibly gluten metabolites in the eggs...

Especially with diary and eggs I would imagine.   21. interesting stuff... maybe dairy is a bad one because cows are fed gluten and/or soy... corn is bad because it can be cross-contaminated... and soy is bad because...well its similar to gluten in structure.

I tried replicating this experience with supermarket produce with little success. So its my idea that its the SBO's from the fresh picked produce that kill off candida. Which makes perfect...
