Guess its time to get some vitamin b 12 in my system, I only have 1/2 moons on my thumbs and if i push my cuticles back i have little tiny ones on my pointer and i believe i remember having the 1/2 moons on more fingers then that. the rest are lacking in the 1/2 moon, my nails have always been very brittle, and have aquired really bad ridges in the past year...

OH MY GOODNESS!!! okay so they dont have a Jamba Juice close to me, its like a 2 hour drive to get to the nearest one, but i was adicted when i lived in washington state, and will be getting one as soon as i get near one!!!! so that is exciting that most of the boosts are gluten free! I LOVE JAMBA JUICE!!!!
  4. I am always freezing, Havent had any tests done since I was 6. since I am 23 there could be something there now that wasnt when i was younger. I am the person with the windows in the car up, with no A/C when it is 100 degrees outside. this winter i have been wearing 2 pairs of socks, at least 4 shirts, and a zip up sweatshirt, and a hoodie. and still am always...

  7. Looks like its time to buy some new shampoo again!!! my BF will love this..lol i think he is tired of buying shampoo and conditioner, i must have given away 10 bottle by now...lol I am not so good at the label, although I am improving..looks like I will try me some dove...

We will be passing through, I am not sure how long we will be staying, My boyfriends mother lives there, so we are going to go visit her on our journey to utah. i would guess probably a week or two that we will be there. same with peoria, i think maybe 2 weeks to a month that we will be there, depends on how long sean can handle his family!

There are 2 in my house hold, Me(the gluten-free) and my boyfriend the "normal eater" how we deal with the CC is I have my own counter space, and he has his, also, I have one shelf in the fridge dedicated solely to my food, mayo, butter, stuff that we both use, but he has his own. whats on my shelf is not to be used by him, unless he is making gluten-free...
  11. Ha...I know the feeling. When I was diagnosed finally at six and started acting normal. Later my mom tells me that I am ADD/ADHD, and it was up to me to take the pills, I was diagnosed ADD/ADHD before going gluten free as a child, once I started eating gluten free the symptoms went away, not completely, I still am ADD/ADHD(adult stages) but without the pills...
  12. I stick to leftovers for lunch but you can make nachos, i had some today, really good. Fruit is another lunchtime favorite! if I am not feeling daring, I will make a bowl of rice. since I am still learning what is safe, I tend to stick to fruits veggies meat and rice right now, until i venture out and find what else I can have. I too am trying to find the best way to go about starting some sort of group it just seems like most the NC celiacs on this site are at least an hour or more from me....not that I am not willing to drive that far, but I would rather stay close to home, since I really dont know anything outside of fayetteville, hope mills, sprinklake...
  14. I must say I am a bit jealous...It seems like everytime I move away from somewhere, something starts that I would love to be involved with. I deffinately miss home(Tacoma/puyallup). but hopefully You all are doing great with the support group and hopefully I can find on that is close to home eventually!!!

I am not a cryer, or a fighter, I am a pretty mellow person, but for the first 2 months I was up and down, here nad there. I just figured that i was stressed, or i dont know what I thought, i couldnt come up with a reason for it. But now I am doing better, and evened...

I think it does too, But thats why I was asking what other people used, I am def. not going to go out and buy anymore shampoos and conditioners till i know for sure it has no gluten, and since my hair isnt falling out too bad, i figure ill use it till i get a brand, And thanks to all of you on here, I can finally go out and get some gluten-free shampoos!...

Okay so I am taking the advice given, and am going to cut out the dairy and soy from my diet in hopes that I will heal faster, and better. but before I do I am totally going to eat like 2 blocks of cheese. well maybe just a 1/2.....It is going to be so hard, cheese is my favorite food. I LOVE IT. and to have to not eat it for months on end is really going...
  22. I have been gluten free(again) for 3 months, It was longer, but then I cheated, so it doesnt count. On that cheat, I went to taco bell, was totally craving a chalupa. Anyhow I ate it down in seconds, and regretted it for days...since then I have not "cheated" but have been glutened, and even still it is a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. With that being said...
  23. Hi Violet, My boyfriend is lactose intolerant, And for the pills to work you are to take them before you eat/drink anything with lactose in it. They work up to 45 minutes, so if you take them and then eat an hour later they wont help at all. They dont cure his lactose intolerence completly, he still has some effects of the lactose, but is not nearly as bad...

  25. I have the same question, right now I am using sunsilk extra body shampoo and conditioner, I am still losing hair, but not nearly as much as I was when I was using Tresseme...
