  1. Our co-op sells pure vanilla extract in the bulk (jug) for 1/2 the price you can buy it for at Walmart. They also have organic. Be sure to check out your store and save DOLLARS. It was 99 cents per oz. I also buy Bragg's Liquid Aminos (sub for soy sauce) in the bulk too.
  2. My dd chooses a mexican restaurant if she eats out and hasn't had a problem. Her only allergy is gluten so she orders corn tortillas. I told her to get Wendy's chili and Frosty if she needs something fast. I hear they are safe, I sure hope so.

  4. About a year ago our neighbor was told he had esophageal cancer. He was a heavy smoker. The doc told him it wasn't caused by smoking. He kept smoking, had chemo, ate through a tube, etc. I looked it up, his doc is wrong. He died 2 weeks ago at the age of 60.
  5. Could you put your dirty gluten-free dishes in a bag in your own dish pan/storage container, to protect them until you get back home to wash them after classes?   8. This is the way I did it. I think someone said they used sorghum so I bought some. Then I used 1/2 Featherlite (rice)mix and 1/2 sorghum mix when I baked and saw no problem so now I use sorghum.   10. I can't remember all the details on the coconut flour but don't sub it straight across for any flour. I think its only up to 20% or say 1/4 cup per 1 cup of flour. I only use about 1 or 2 T in any recipe. Coconut flour recipes need tons of eggs too. I can tell the difference just using 1 T, it makes the dough sticky. You will have trouble with the pie crust...

  12. Its not sweet like regular vanilla yogurt so be sure to add fruit or agave sweetener. I even mix it with other vanilla yougurt or fruit flavored, it only takes a couple of spoonfuls.

  22. GREAT! There are so many dishes like this, but this one is mix it, bake it, and forget it until its done. So easy and it only takes 1 pan unless you add ground meat. I like to scoop mine up with tortilla chips.
  23. Yes..but my big oven is broken so I bake in a convection oven which doesn't bake a bundt cake unles its 1/2 full.
