Hey guys, I made a 4 our search on anything about Emmy Rossum and came up with absolutely nothing. Maybe she thinks, she's cool, if she acts like that and that's all. Or they just try to keep it a secret. But instead of Emmy Rossum and celiac I came up with this from other famous people: Joey C.: Open Original Shared Link that was the guy who toured...

ARCHIVED I Work In A Clinic
stef-the-kicking-cuty replied to BamBam's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Hello BamBam, Yeah, I heard that a lot, too, unfortunately. I hate people like that. Diagnosed or not diagnosed. We all no, that gluten makes us sick, so why not withdraw completely from gluten? I'd say, the docs probably could be more wrong, then what your own feeling tells you here. My whole life I had an uncomfortable feeling with foods, that harmed... -
Maybe they wrote it so strange that everybody should think, that she herself took the "insides" out of the sandwiches. Maybe they didn't even touch the sandwiches and were already separated?... Stef

stef-the-kicking-cuty replied to BamBam's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Hello Watkinson, welcome on this message board. Your story sounds really painfull and familiar. Shortly before diagnosed I also thought I get nuts and I wanted to die, cause I just didn't want to have pain anymore. I didn't actually beg god for it. I actually thought about crashing against a tree with my car full speed or against a wall or something.... -

stef-the-kicking-cuty replied to 2new2celiacs's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
@ Tom: Normally it's not like that at the Outback's. I visited about 4 different ones now, even in different states, and all of them had this menu. But once (I think it was Washington D.C.) I also had a waitress, who was completely clueless. But I was stuborn and said, that I'm sure that they have this. And than she called another waitress who knew what I... -

Well, since a few weeks there's a question that bothers me (especially after visiting germany and my german team). I thought, how cool it would be, when my german team could visit us in their summer vacation. And since there are 2 people in our team with celiac (one of my students and myself) we could offer a vacation for celiac people also. I already...

ARCHIVED What Supplements Do You Take?
stef-the-kicking-cuty replied to Karina's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Ah, with four times a day, I don't know. Cause with mine I only have to take one tablet one time a day. Maybe your doctor knows something about it as well? But I think, if you'd only take the one at night, that would work, too. Some days I don't even take the one probiotic tablet, because I forget and it still works. Hugs, Stef -

Wow, good to see you back and on the way to recovery . Interesting story, that with the tube indeed does sound very painful . That with the nurse, that she had celiac, that's just one proof, that there are more and more patients with celiac out there . I don't wish it to them, but our world gets much better through that though. I'm glad to hear, everything... -
