  7. Open Original Shared Link I know I have already posted a topic about this place.. but I have to again. This place is amazing. I went there last night with my boyfriend and a whole group of people. They all loved it. The owner and his daughter gave me free gluten free corn bread mix. Also... they have sandwhiches now. A special baker goes there and bakes...

  9. I just read on a website that they will be priced at $4.49. Open Original Shared Link Does anyone know if they are out in stores yet? All the websites say June 2009. It's June 2nd.. I know I'm impatient.
  10. First put warm water in a bowl and add the yeast that it comes with. Then add the dough, oil and eggs. Then use a mixer... or just stir with a spoon. Then you let it rise for 20 mins... spread it out on a pan... bake for 7 minutes... top with what ever you want... and throw back in the oven for 15 mins... it came out perfect.
  11. If there is anyone out there who has not tried this yet.... it's amazing. I made it last night... it's the easiest thing in the world to make. I didn't even use a mixer. I made a sicilan pie. The crust was crispy... and did not fall apart. I've been going around trying gluten free pizza from a bunch of places... but this was the best gluten-free pizza I have...

  19. Thanks for the input everyone. I didn't know cheesecake factory accomodated.. I have one 20 minutes away from my house.. I will have to check it out. And speaking of sushi... I know if I buy it packaged... it usually has gluten in it... but is sushi usually gluten free when made fresh? Because the only ingredients are rice, fish, maybe vegies and sea weed...
  20. Yeah... I'll always look at the clock when it's 11:11... because I always want to make a wish... it used to freak me out... that every day I would catch 11:11.. twice a day...but it's really something called confirmation bias. It means that you are so concentrated on that time... that you are not paying attention to all of the other times you look at the...
  21. I am going on a 2 week trip all the way from San Diego to Crater Lake in Oregon. I have already done a lot of research on places to eat, bakerys and grocery stores... but if anyone has any input at all on what places are specifically good.. that would be really helpful.. thanks!
  22. I eat about 1600 calories a day... but I also work out vigerously 6 days a week... and I am only 4'10'' and about 105lbs... so I need less calories. I eat about 1300-1400 on days I don't work out. This has helped me maintain my weight. If I wanted to lose I would probably keep my work outs the same and eat about 1200 a day.

I shop there a lot... they have an entire aisle of all gluten free... and an entire freezer...I have found more stuff there than I have at whole foods. They also have all different brands of supplements and vitamins... and certified...
  24. The whole foods brand was the first brand of cookies I ever baked gluten-free... They taste like regular cookies... my family didn't know the difference... they were gone the next day... mostly because of me. I have not found any other mixes that compare to the whole foods brand.
  25. A whole story on being gluten free is on News 12 Long Island. It's about 7 minutes long... they visit different restaurants and bakerys and talk about how being on a gluten free diet can be delishious even if you're not a celiac!.. It's a pretty cool story and I'm excited it was on the news... anyway... its been playing every hour. It plays at the end of...
