  1. Kraft is a brand that will not hide anything. They will list wheat, rye, barley, oats right on the label or it is gluten free. So just check
  2. If you had antibodies in both then yes you have it. They most likely did the basic tests which include 1 or 2 IgA and the IgG. There should be 4 IgA's done and 1 IgG done: -Anti-Gliadin (AGA) IgA -Anti-Gliadin (AGA) IgG -Anti-Endomysial (EMA) IgA -Anti-Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG) IgA -Total Serum IgA The EMA and tTG are not usually done so...
  3. celiac3270 posted about the Delphi list in the Product section and was sending it out to anyone who wants a copy of it. celiac3270 also posted where you can get it if you want to get it yourself: 1) Go to the website, Open Original Shared Link 2) Click on "messages" or "start reading" 3) Select the folder "gluten-free Product List" 4) Click on the...
  4. Enterolabs are not very widely accepted by the medical community but in my opinion are very good. (some doctors do accept it though) Gene testing is very important. 98% of celiacs have the DQ2 or DQ8 gene. I think gene testing is essential. What tests did you have done? Alot of blood tests ordered are not the full celiac panel with the tTG and EMA. These...
  5. I did not react strongly at first but now however I do. The longer you are off of gluten the more sensitive to it you become. Your body is used to not having gluten then you have gluten and are giving it something it does not tolerate and your body will let you know about it. Some people however just never get symptoms so it depends on the person. Not...

  7. Yes 50% does seem really high. Do you mind sharing where you found this figure?
  8. He needs to be on for gluten for a good 3 months. 2 weeks will not be enough. The results will come back negative. In my opinion if you know he does horrible on gluten then why put him on it? Do you need the biopsy done for a specific reason? Did he have a diagnosis before or why did he get off of all gluten? Has he got better off of it?
  9. All of the folgers brand of coffee is gluten free. All the coffee companies I have checked have been fine. Anything can contain gluten so you really should call if you are unsure about it before consuming it. If that is gluten free maybe your body just doesn't like coffee. Or maybe there is another culprit.
  10. Zithromax? That is gluten free...just confirmed it with the Delphi forum updated list of what is safe. I was on that for like a week last year and the manufacturer confirmed it was gluten free then as well.
  11. Yep...just read the label they do not hide anything so it will clearly say wheat, rye, barley, oats if it contains any
  12. Yep that could have been from the lunch. I get reactions right away and then they last for 2 weeks. Everyone varies with reaction times though. Some have long reactions while some don't get sick at all. Looks like they might have had something in the meal that contaminated you. Even though the food may have been gluten free, they may have cross contaminated...

  14. Hersheys is a good chocolate for that. Just check the label for wheat,rye,barley,oats...they will not hide anything.
  15. It could be related to celiac or from complications of celiac. I highly recommend you get on a vitamin(I prefer liquid because of the way it is absorbed in the body), enzymes, and probiotics. These are essential! Some people dont feel better for a long time it depends how long you went diagnosed etc... It took me 3 months to feel alot better then a...
  16. Well it's not on the Delphi list either so I would call before taking it again.
  17. Yes that could very well throw the results off so you may not get an accurate reading. Did you get a gene test as well? That will not affect the gene test so you could still find out if you have that predisposition to it. 98% have the HLA-DQ2 or HLA- DQ8 gene. In order to get accurate testing for blood tests or biopsies it is recommended that you need to...
  18. I do the same as Nisla and always have my cell with me in case I need to call a company. I think the companies would know me by name now
  19. It can take more then 2 months to get rid of symptoms. It will take longer especially if you cheat alot. It's more then just the symptoms...its the DAMAGE you do to your intestines. By ignoring the diet you slowly kill yourself. It takes years off of your life and puts you 40-100 times more likely to get life threatening illnesses. Some people do not...
