    Hunter, addressing your family problems could take years. So, I am going to tell you about a couple of kids we know, now late teens, who were dxed years ago but it was too much trouble for the parents to enforce or encourage the gluten-free diet.     Lo, what is the purpose of this counselor? Is it someone to help you write resumes and get a job? When we moved, I had to see one because hub's company would pay 1 months salary if I was actively looking for work. If it's for career counseling but there is no money benefit, you could decline nicely, saying you are going to be a stay home wife for a while...

    What about starburst and skittles? Jelly bellys? Check but probably no milk.

    If you were to go to the Dove website, it will give you the ingredients. It lists milk as one of the first ingredients. Don't take my word for it, check it out. Took me less then 60 seconds. Also, the name is "milk chocolate".

    Back from the Gluten Free Lalapalooza! Stuffed with free samples! Had to stop eating all the cookie, cake, muffin, opie, etc samples. Fortunately there were bread, pizza. BBQ sauce, Fried chicken, onion rings,chili soups, Bards beer, Woodchuck Hard cider, and Quesidilla samples to cut the sweet.

    Try this. Sooooo yummy and creamy. I added some garlic. do the spinach or not. Asparagus at the last minute would have been good.

    Had a dream the other night that I was at a party. For some reason I thought the cake was gluten-free - might have thought it was for my b-day cake. Ate a piece, yum. Got a second piece and ate 1 bite and found it wasn't gluten-free! Woke me up, mad!

    Tomorrow is the Celiac Sprue Associations vendors exhibit hall. Supposed to be lots of samples and things to buy. I plan to skip breakfast and sample away! Will report if I try anything special

I never felt a huge need to replace gluten as I never loved bread, donuts, etc. But for the first few weeks I did get a headache. I found that dark chocolate helped that.
