  1. This is probably the only post out of 1,500 to have true intellectual importance. Sorry the trip was a drag, and you missed all the phun here while you were away. Jenkins is now Jaxon, or Jax for short. Fine, as long as you two are still together. You need a guy in your life who by loyal to you (as long as you feed him). Edited...
  2. I suspect that a rat would fall within Rob's eligibility criteria, but probably not his taste. Shrimp would not qualify. And speaking of things to eat, we baked bread and brownies this afternoon. It is still snowing. Susie, where are you
  3. Rob couldn't cook to save his life. When it is his turn to host Christmas we go to a restaurant near his home. This was my other brother, Alan. Rob believes that you should only eat things that are developed at the same level as we are. So animals must have eyes, feet and a spine, and plants must photosynthesize.
  4. Today we are baking. There is another loaf of GFP French bread in the machine. It will come out in two hours and twenty minutes. After starting it, we went to work on GFP brownies. My brother made them when he hosted the family at Christmas, and they were just awesome. So we picked up the mix, and now they are cooling on the kitchen counter. This is...
  5. I compiled a history of the Silly Crown. Our founder, Richard, was leader for 199 pages and 374 days before the modern, post-Richard era began with Beverly's assumption of the Crown by starting page 200. Until yesterday, the average reign was 31 days, with Bev's being the shortest. Monarch ... Crowned .. Reign ---------------------------- Richard...
  6. She mentioned going to church. Maybe she's praying that it is all just a dream.
  7. Uh, no, actually it is one hundred and four pages to read.
  8. It sure is. Here is the view through the sliding door. More than a phoot of the phluphphy white stuphph. Another view from the same perspective. And this is the view out the window upstairs. There is about 8 inches piled up against the glass on the sill. The two pics thru the sliding door are also thru the screen, which explains the subtle grid marks...
  9. Janet, are you suggesting that the material in those pages is not of deep intellectual significance?
  10. Good morning, all. Lots of new snow here, and it is still coming down. Last winter I put a picture of my snow-covered deck up as an av. I think that was the first time I talked about my deck on here. Emily even found and quoted that post yesterday. Well, it is buried deep again. I must take another picture to share. Amanda is in her new house...
  11. I can only address part of your question. Yes, it is possible for the analysis of the biopsy to detect damage that is not visible to the eye. But if the damage is not yet severe it may be present in some places and absent in others, which is why multiple samples should be taken. A single random sample might find healthy tissue just by chance.
  12. Okay, it has been a long day anyway. I would avoid travel to the Phrezno area for the next while. Good night, pholks.
  13. There is one around Bermuda, but I think the one being mentioned is on the left of the topic title when you view a forum or view new posts. To the left of the title is a green right-pointing triangle upon which if you click you will be taken to the first unread post in that topic.
  14. Just because your friend has a reaction to the product does not necessarily mean that the reaction is caused by gluten. Many celiacs have other sensitivities. Caramel color in North America is derived from corn, as it has a longer shelf life that other sources. Regardless of the source, caramel color is so highly processed that no detectable gluten remains...
  15. Wait a minute here. If that does happen, we will definitely have to see pictures to decide whose image appears in the bruise. Michael Jackson? Jesus? George W. Bush?
  16. Isn't the canal frozen over this time of year? Won't you just bruise your @$$ landing on the ice?
  17. Well, there might have been two or three meaningful posts. It is so good to see you back online. We are getting more snow. 15 cm (6 inches) expected, and we have at least a third of that on the ground already. The good news is that we are NOT going into the store tomorrow, and a member of our staff gets to shovel the stuff in the parking lot.
  18. Yeah, I edited my reply to say that I'm not sure who was first. And nevertheless, you do not want to hear me try to sing. I can't carry a tune in a wheelbarrow, much less a bucket.
  19. The booby prize. It was Guy Lombardo, a Canadian. And Lawrence Welk too, Not sure who copied from whom.
  20. You never know who it might be. There are a few moderators who phrequent this phunny place, and some of are anonymous at times to phacilitate our ability, as mods, to watch without being watched. It might be one of us, or it could be a spy. Mr Bond, are you in the house? I have a martini for you, shaken, not stirred.
  21. A one anna two or is that one-sie, two-sie. Harumph. My talent was MathS, not music. You do NOT want to hear me attempt to sing. Trust me on this.
  22. Its the Post-a-Thon for, well, um, oh whatever.
  23. Holy cow! We go out for pizza and I miss six pages. Must start reading.
