    I would not do this, period. Here you can order a McD sandwich without the bun, but once the bun and patty have been in contact with each other, the meat is contaminated.

    I don't know if it is used in products that also contain gluten, but I certainly would not assume that just because a product contains xanthan gum that the product is gluten-free.

    Here is a post with some useful information. The list of trusted brands is, in my opinion, more valuable than any list of foods alleged to be safe due to formulas changing.

    Check the bouillon cubes--some contain gluten. We use Bovril bouillon powder.

    My endoscopy was done just before my 46th birthday. I got the results two days after my birthday. I deliberately chose not to have the follow-up appt on by birthday, as was originally offered. I had had obvious symptoms for at least five years, but there were other things going back into my childhood that I now realize could be related.

    Another possible cause of a false negative is that the immune system overall is impaired. Was a Total Serum IgA test done? This test must be in the normal range for the other test(s) to be accurate.
