  1. Thank you!
  2. Ps- I'm starting grain free as of today. Eek. We shall see how this goes!
  3. Is Rice Flour considered a grain? This is a great article, talks a bit about grains... http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/05/27/gut-bacteria-offer-new-hope-for-people-with-celiac-disease.aspx?aid=CD945+
  4. I'd do the gene testing for sure...and go from there.
  5. I'd look into food intolerance's and vitamin/mineral deficiencies. I was starving until I had a food dietitian check my vitamin/mineral levels and got on the correct supplements.

    ARCHIVED Ms?

Earlier this week, I had tons of neruo issues. Got tons of blood work with a Celiac dietitian. I learned I was not absorbing any minerals/calcium/Magnesium/B6/or Vitamin D. Once I got on doses of these, the neurological symptoms are going away. Just something to look into ...and I have an aunt with MS- which I believe is due to undiagnosed Celiac- since...
  7. My Celiac dietician has me eating some of the following: never the same foods 2 days in row digestive ensymes Lifeway Kefir Bananas yams (not the skin- fiber hard to digest) blueberries blackberries skinless apples Nothing acidic boars head chicken from deli tuna (plain, nothing but salt added to it) air popped pop corn- no butter carrots ...
  8. My Celiac dietitian told me yesterday that my recurrent sinus/allergy problems is a vitamin A deficiency due to Celiac. Wild, huh?
  9. I has similar experiences. Finally found out that it was all food intolerances, egg yolks, soy, dairy, and oils. I kept a detailed food journal to nail them down. Hope you find what's hurting you, I know how hard it is.
  10. Thank you both sooooo much! I just went out and bought the PB8! Looking forward to trying it out.
  11. Hi Everyone! I'm a Celiac and I'm currently soy, gluten, dairy, egg, oil, and egg free...and looking for a probiotic- lol. =) Anyone, with these issues, have one that you would suggest? Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!
  12. I'm a newbie as well...and my last symptoms have only started to get better after cutting out soy, legumes, and beans. Bummer- but hey- feeling amazing will be worth it. That's what I keep telling myself. =) I think we'll, hopefully, be able to add it back in a year or so from now...
  13. I take: Nature's plus Adults Chewables Youngevity's EFA's, calcium/Magnesium/Zinc pills, Selenium pills, and Mineral pills Enzymatic's B12 infusion Daily Essential's Joint comfort(glucosimine, MSM, Chondriotin) Azo cranberry pills. Hope this helps
  14. I have lost 7 pounds since going gluten free in 3 months. So if you are overweight- you're body will love being gluten free and will work for you, not against you. But yes, VERY important to get on all the right supplements. Hang in there, I know it's overwhelming!
  15. For sure, all gluten free products. No need to risk it.
  16. PS- Taking magnesium has stopped my stabbing muscle pain as well...google magnesium, Celiac, and symptoms- good stuff.
  17. Just a though- look into B12 and Magnesium. Since being on the magnesium, for me, my muscle spasms and twitching have stopped- yay! Due to malabsporption in Celiacs, we don't absorb B-12 and Magnesium. If you try the magnesium- space it out through the day, so you don't get ummm...diarrhea. I take 400 mcg of liquid magnesium spread throughout the day. It...
  18. I too have had rib pain/costochondritis for 3 1/2 years. It's turned my life up side down. Just finally figured out that it's caused by my undiagnosed Celiac. SO thankful to finally get diagnosed. I'm finding that magnesium is helping the pain. I believe this pain is due to deficiencies due to Celiac malabsorption- as well as anything that irritates the stomach...
  19. I use Zyrtec- I react to the lactose in Clariton- Booo. But very thankful for Zyrtec- which is gluten free!
  20. Yes, I get muscle pain, numbness, and tingling in my arms and legs, mostly left side. Click on my profile and you can go to my little video/website blog- I just did a video post as to why this can happen since I'm dealing with right now. Hope you get to feeling better so soon!
  21. I feel your pain. I've been unable to work out due to the chest pain I have with Celiac. I was just Celiac diagnosed (and have gone gluten-free) for the past 7 weeks. I was a personal trainer for 3 years as well. I know the deep desire to get in the gym and rock it out. But I think it's really important to allow the body to heal, and not add any more stress...
  22. Thank you everyone for taking the time to share that with me! I'll definitely be doing the allergy and intolerance testing soon then....thanks so much!
