I am 2 month postpardum and when I was pregnant I loved yougart and fruit. I hardly could eat meat so I made sure I ate peanuts or peanut butter. The gluten-free bread that I really like is Energ light tapioca. Some people hate this bread, but if you toast it it tastes pretty good.

sdore replied to mandigirl1's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Just had my baby 2 months ago and I could not breast feed b/c she was in ICU and they bottle fed her at first and she only wanted the bottle after that. She had colic and it was horrible and she is on soy now which made the world of difference. My Dr. said that formula is gluten free. If he is right I have no idea but he said that we would not know if... -
ARCHIVED Safe Soup
sdore replied to sdore's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Thanks!!! I will definitely try the progresso because I know where to find it. My mom bought a healthy choice pot roast soup bowl. The ingredients seemed fine, but I emailed them to make sure. I like to eat pre-made soup when I am sick and I don't feel like making homemade. Thanks again! -
I have been gluten-free for years and I have no idea which soups are gluten free. I did by Amy's at my local store last night, but they are quite expensive. Do you guys know of any other main brands that are gluten-free? Steph

ARCHIVED Gluten Free Bread
sdore replied to kbabe1968's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I found a new bread for me. It's called energy, but it may be spelled differently. Light Tapioca. It is really soft and tastes wonderful. It's not in the freezer section, it's just on a shelf. The bad part, it has a short shelf life once opened; only a week, but it was only 3.80. -
ARCHIVED Low Body Temperature - Thyroid?
sdore replied to jayhawkmom's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I have a thyroid disease and they just found my sister's tyroid to have problems after her 3rd blood test. My temp always runs low, in the 97's. So when it is up in the 98's, I have a feaver. I am always cold and tired. I get my blood work checked often, but the Dr. always states the numbers are fine, but I think not, but, what do you do. If you do have... -

ARCHIVED Non-aluminum Dedorant
sdore posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Hello all. I am wanting to switch to a non-aluminum dedorant but I don't want to spend the money on one that doesn't work. I figured that someone may have some insight? Any suggestions? Steph -
Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew of brands of gluten-free lunchmeat? I have or thought I have been gluten-free for over a year, but after reading some messages I have found that I have been eating gluten. I eat lunchmeat and cheese about everyday for lunch. I would like to be sure on the gluten-free brands. thanks!

ARCHIVED Celiac Vs Gluten Sensitivity
sdore posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Is it the same? My sister was tested and the dame Dr. found that she also is allergic to gluten. She asked me what the difference was between celiac and gluten sensitivity. I thought they were the same? When I asked my Dr. he said they were different. He stated that on a scale from 1-10 a celiac is a 10 and I am a 5. Does this make sense? Are they not the... -

I had time to print out some of the recipes. They have gluten-free ingredients. I will have to try them to see how they taste. As for the frozen foods, I had a chance to ckeck out 1 or 2. They had modified food startch a few times. But as as I know, kraft is ok with mod. food startch. Now I did look at one that said wheat startch. I will try to email...

Ok all I have been doing some research. I have seen that Kraft has the "new" south beach diet meals out on the market. So I went to the website and all products are listed and I checked some of them out for gluten. It looks like some are gluten-free. Also, the site has receip ideas. The ones I looked at were gluten-free. So f you need some new ideas check...

I use to get them bad too before going gluten free. I have been (cross-my-fingers) good ever since. I would also take acidophlis too. I also found out that I have an allergic reaction to detergent and soaps with parfume and dyes. So I wash my clother in all-free and use non-parfume, dye soap. This has helped a lot!

I just made cupcakes from Namaste. They are the best ever!!!! I made the chocolate ones. You have got to try them!!!! The bag made 20 some cupcakes. So I have them frozen for when I need my next chocolate fix!

ARCHIVED What Could This Be?
sdore replied to danikali's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Could be mitrovalve-prolapse. I am sorry, I have NO idea how to spell that. The reason I say this is because I went to the Dr. and he thought he heard a click in my heart and I had to do a stress test. Well I was ok, but he told me some symptoms to look out for. He said to watch for tight feeling in the chest and out of breath. He said that this can happen... -
I get migranes on a monthly basis. I also get them if I am around a lot of smoke. I take Imatrex (nasal spray) It seems to work very well if I use it at the very start. I also have Darvocet for pain. When I was first getting them my Dr. gave me a list of food to stay away from that have some protein that starts with the letter T. ( I will have to find...

Hi, I just read your message and I also think that it is wonderful that you have found a Dr. that doesn't think you are crazy!!! And can hopefully shead some light on the subject. It's weird you said the parfume thing. That also happens to me!!! Also I always argue with my fiancee' about going out to the bar because the smoke maked me absoultely sick...

Well I go to the Dr. tomorrow and I will let you all know what he says. Hopefully a little more insight. My pain really didn't come until after I went gluten-free, but it could be reoccuring because I am accidently taking in gluten somewhere and don't know it. steph
