Does anyone know if Kirkland Signature Low Dose Aspirin, 2 bottles - 365-Count Enteric Coated Tablets each is gluten free? I can't find the box with all the info on it. Kirkland's other products like ibuprofen and allergy med and other things by them say Gluten free right on the bottle. This does not so it has me wondering. I seem to get a low grade nausea...

I am 51 and was just diagnosed a little over a month ago.....has far as not feel 100% I found I didn't get there until I removed gluten for my personal products too, Makeup, lipstick, lotion, shampoo. Anything that was around my mouth or on my hands. After doing this I felt so much better. Have you checked you products also?

ARCHIVED Mouthwash Has Gluten In It
iamsarar replied to iamsarar's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Thanks Lisa! Your response made me push the issue and ask the right questions when I called. I think I do have a problem with this one bottle at least. I am just going to use water for now and see how it goes. -
ARCHIVED Mouthwash Has Gluten In It
iamsarar replied to iamsarar's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
OK....I called back a third time this time THIS third person said that the mouthwash IS gluten free, BUT it is manufactured in a plant that makes many other products that are NOT gluten free and it is advised that if you are on a gluten free diet you should NOT use this product. Why didn't they just say that the first time Thanks for all your input... -

The label looks different then this on the link. My label says Mouthwash clean and fresh. I called the customer 1-800 number and the person I talked to said that "yes this does contain gluten" After reading your post I decided to try again and see if I get the same answer. I got a different person, after giving them the numbers on the back of the bottle she... -

I live on the Olympic Peninsula and I go to Seattle often. I am newly diagnosed and I am going to Seattle next weekend for my Birthday. I am looking for some gluten free options. I usually eat at P.F.Chang's because of their gluten free menu options. Any other ideas? Maybe a place to sit and have a cup of tea and a pastry? If you are Gluten free in the Seattle... -

iamsarar replied to Fire Fairy's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
I am a newly diagnosed Vegetarian and i Had thought about adding meat to my diet again. I had bought some to add to a sauce I was cooking. When I took it out of the pack I started to gag but I continued to cook it. When we sat down for dinner no one liked the taste or texture. I haven't cooked any again and don't feel I need to. I like the way I feel when... -

ARCHIVED I Feel Like People Are Irritated With Me...
iamsarar replied to Jenn624's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Hi Jenn... I know what you mean!! The people around me are tired of me asking what is in it or I get co-workers bringing cakes and stuff and going out of the way to sat "haha, you can't have any!" Or I say something like " I have a question...." and they interrupt and say " Let me guess....does this have gluten in it" Real nasty like. This is what I have... -
ARCHIVED Best Bread Brand?
iamsarar replied to WinterSong's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I Like Udi's. Makes great toast! Their Cinnamon raisin bread is great too. Tonight I made grilled cheese sandwiched with Schar's sandwich bread. They were so good. To me Udi's taste like a French bread. This Schar was soft like wonder bread. -

When I travel the first thing I do is a Google search of the place I am going to like "gluten free Honolulu" Also after checking into the hotel I look for the nearest grocery store and stock up on snacks, drinks, breakfast items. I would also call ahead to the Hotel and let them know about your diet and see if they have any suggestions. -

I am a preschool teacher working with 3-5 year olds. When I was diagnosed I told my classes that I could eat gluten/wheat any more because it made me sick so I would not be eating crackers with them anymore. I had children in my class that can not drink milk so they understood about eating things that make you sick. Since then, I have had children bringing...

Thank you for your suggestions! I do order from Discount School Supply. I will to see what they have. The school supplies the snack unless there is a child with an allergy then their parent supply it. It is a private school so it is a little easier to control things. I did find a recipe for gluten-free play dough. Going to try that. I put beans in the sensory... -
