  1. Because of this stupid fricking disease i had to miss my grandads funeral. I am in tears, with a hot water bottle, wondering what the point of my pathetic life is at the moment. I had been feeling ok for a couple of days and was really excited that i would be able to manage the 5hours travelling, but no i woke up, stomach cramps to the point of not walking...
  2. I can't seem to find many others with this, and wanted to ask. So frogive me if its a topic been talked to death about! Whenever i get very little sleep, my tummy plays up, meaning i have looser stools and a feeling of needing to go but cant really, like there isnt anything there. I get bloated and irratable and very yawny! Last night i had an awful nights...
  3. Since last friday i started feeling like myself again, it was wonderful, I wasn't as anxious, i had energy back and started doing what i used to do again, plus no funny tummy! I was slightly constipated but had been that way for years so i was happy it was that way instead of the big D! I did have some mucus still from last week, but it wasn't hugely bothersome...
  4. Aha the brain fog scoff, i too have been there! Sigh! My brain fog is almost like i can't concentrate on anything, i can sit doing nothing for a couple of hours without noticing, almost like swimming through time. Like that state between being asleep and awake, almost physically shaking your head to get rid of a fog, but it doesnt go. A heady drunkeness without...
  5. okay along with some other things happening recently i accidentally glutened myself with hair conditioner for 2 days about 3 days ago i realised and stopped using it but since i've had mucus coming out when i pass gas (TMI), its clear and doesn't smell much, but its worrying me, usually i recover quite quickly but when i accidentally glutened or soyed myself...
  6. Thanks, it does actually, I do consume chocolate most days! :") It contains milk, but everything else i have is lacto-free (I can't tolerate soy) Maybe I'l cut it out for a couple of weeks and see! Thanks again x
  7. This may sound a little odd but i get random little aches over my stomach, it does happen after being glutened, which i was a couple of days ago, but it feels more like a muscular pain, i sit a lot suring the day and sew, so my back is bent and im wondering if doing that all week then weekend standing more and being a bit more active would cause this aching...
  8. Aha i found someone who has been gluten free as long as i have I didn't find any changes until month 4 then cut off soya and voila started to feel better but not 100%, but my anxiety and depression went away which was nice! But i wasn't still 100% so i started noticing things like my hair conditioner i suddenly started reacting too, I've now cahnged all...
  9. See i initially thought dairy as well but i was drinking dairy like it was going out of fashion at the time, and tried having ice cream or something but it was only satisfied drinking to probiotics, was very odd! I wont dont worry i'l speak to the doc first! Thanks will do!
  10. Oh cool thanks, will give them a ring and ask asap!
  11. I had a look and yes does seem very possible, will definatly ask. At least its a good thing i guess!!! Just wish i didnt have any symptoms other than feeling better! You've been really helpful thanks. xx
  12. Haha my friend was drinking some yogurty probiotic drink and the smell of it just instinctively made me want it and i couldn't stop thinking about it until i got some and drank them everyday.
  13. How do they test for this? During the sampling? Or is it another testy thing? I like the idea of them going away! So i will definatly ask. I wish i was seeing her sooner now with all this info! Unfortunately i do have quite a low carb diet but i really do try to up it! My dietitian did say i was slightly underweight today and to try and snack more often...
  14. Thanks, doesn't sound quite as scary I don't take any probiotics, i know i probably should actually, i did crave them before i was diagnosed, it was an odd craving, along with olives and blueberries... Im glad i can listen to my body quite well. I will definatly see whats up with the white flecks, i did manage to find a gluten-free threadworm tablet but...
  15. I know!!! I guess i never really did know what normal was, being chronically constipated my whole life and thinking that was normal, then having reallly loose stools, then getting diagnosed, i have no idea what normal is now!!! But yes v exciting! Hehe. thanks
  16. I got a docs appointment for next wednesday, was the quickest one i could get, ive never done a stool test before, I got the earliest appointment i could! So do i do the do when im there or...?! Thank you for the encouragement Made me smile. It is way more encouraging, but im still at my wits end!
  17. I went and saw a dietitian this morning, which was pointless really! Not much help she said my diet was fine and considering i have a completely gluten free house cross contamination is basically impossible... So wasted trip to the hospital. But im still having frequent bowel movements, they have finally started to be more solid every day (TMI i know) but...
  18. It really does sound like Celiac! I'm sure you've researched it enough already but all those symptoms point towards Celiac indeed. I was chronically constipated then all of a sudden the complete opposite it was bizzarre and upsetting. If you can, go and get a blood test asap, espeically looking for Celiacs, or any other allergys. Keep a food diary and take...
  19. Oh dear, this sounds like an awful situation! It does sound like she is reacting to gluten and wheat, but could be a number of other things also, its good your dietician is so good. Have you tried her on the basics, rice, bananas and white chicken? And thats it! And get a multi vitamin that is suitable for Celiacs so she doesn't lose too much weight. ITs...
  20. I finally got my period, tmi i know. But after being nearly two weeks late i started to worry a little bit. I am on the pill, and have missed a few because of my weight dropping so fast and all the other changes that comes with going gluten free! But for the days leading up to this i did feel pretty horrid, headaches, eyes twitching, really bad cramps, generally...
  21. Yes gluten does cause havoc to your immune system. Before i was diagnosed i had my first ever stomach bug (I'm 21!) And i still didn't throw up... I never have! Anyway i also got every cold under the sun, sore throat, runny nose everything! and when my cat got fleas, which i usually never notice because i don't react to their bites, i got itchy legs for the...
  22. Wow makes me want to move country! Thats amazing and put a smile on my face! I can't seem to find anywhere where i live to actually be comfortable going out and eating in.
  23. I still find that problem, but realized eating smaller meals more regularly and small snacking helps, I eat alot of walnuts throughout the day because of their magnesium and vitimin e content which helps with bones and my anxiety strangely, i never connected vitamin e with my anxiety before but voila! If you know your supplements are safe I'd stick with them...
  24. Thanks for the link, its really interesting! I had no idea where half the stuff in your body is! Yeah it does seem likely my gallbladder, but i spoke to my doctor and she thinks its a little low for my gallbladder, she thinks its my large intestine, well the beginning of it... She said after the years of not knowing i was coeliac and my fast digestive tract...
