  1. Does it usually go away after 10-20 minutes? I get that, always have. I always thought it was normal, lol.
  2. If you're still having problems I would see another doc, it couldn't hurt. I don't know if it's because my labs come back normal or what, but according to my eye doc I have chronic dry eye but I couldn't get him nor my Rheumy to let me try Restasis. Good luck!
  3. That's really interesting. I can't swallow a lot of things without liquids. I was tested a few years ago and all my blood work came back negative. My eye Dr. suggested taking Omega 3 Fish Oil Supplements to help with the chronic dry eyes. I can't say for sure if it helped too much. My eyes haven't been bothering me lately. I use Restayne (sp?) eye drops...
  4. I'm so sorry! I've been through something similar. Right before I was diagnosed I had 11 cavities in one year!!! Right now I'm having to be fitted for a mouth guard because I grind my teeth so bad at night I'm breaking them off. It's so not fun. I can definitely empathize with you!! ((hugs))
  5. Thanks for that! I used to polish off a box of cheese-its like nobodies business. Scary thought now!!!
  6. I was misdiagnosed for over 10 years! I went to different Dr's (military) multiple times and was told that it was either normal to have constant diarrhea to the point where I could hardly leave my house, or I had IBS. When I was pregnant it got so bad that I literally only left my house if I absolutely had too. I told my OB/GYN and she told me all I needed...
  7. Thanks Rocco! I have a little bit of experience, mostly with EXIF data. A guy in our group is pretty good at it though. He's our major photo debunker/analyzer. I'll have to go check your site, looks interesting! Let me know if you want to exchange links!
  8. Hi! I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease (hyperthyroid) a few months after finally being diagnosed with Celiac. I achieved remission in about 6 months and haven't had a problem since (yet).
  9. He said he's sorry, that the only one he knows of is that one I already posted. But here is one I found, you might want to check them out. Open Original Shared Link
  10. Thanks! I know what you mean about Gettysburg, it just has a totally different feel to it, and I'm so not sensitive at all! I sent an email to the guy and asked him if he knows of any groups in NYC, so I'll let you know.
  11. Thanks for the compliment on the site, I try really hard. It's funny 'cause I've been this close to both the Whaley House and the Queen Mary and I've never been inside either!!! LOL I'd love to make it back to the East coast to investigate. I have family in Maryland and have been to a lot of the haunted locations in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area but...
  12. Yeah we do it's Open Original Shared Link We don't have much of our evidence up right now. We had some member issues and decided to make a fresh start in 2008. The most interesting thing we have found so far was probably at Fort Bridger, WY. We didn't catch it on video though. We were in the officers quarters and we all heard footsteps upstairs, however...
  13. My group is the Open Original Shared Link, we do investigations and research in and around Northern Utah. We have an investigation scheduled for this Saturday. It's such a blast! From things I've read on various paranormal message boards is they don't think that they do very scientific investigations, and that everything they do seems to be demon related...
  14. I like it for the most part. I think Ryan (isn't that his name?) can be a little over dramatic at times though. I bet that the production company has them play up a lot of that stuff for TV though. I actually run my own paranormal group and I know a lot of groups don't like the show, but I find it entertaining.
  15. I got really lucky in that I can get a ton of gluten free stuff (including Bette Hagman's Blend) at a local health food store. It's $10.95 for 3lbs of flour, but at least I don't have to pay for shipping.
  16. Although my bloodwork always comes back "normal" I have issues with insulin resistance due to PCOS. At one point I was barely eating 1000 calories a day, plus exercising and I couldn't even lose a single pound. It was so ridiculous! I started taking metformin and went from 196 to 163 in about 4 months. You might want to look into some glycemic index...
  17. I get those from time to time, and boy do they hurt! I've noticed mine happens more often if I have a lot of built up dead skin. I do a lot of cleaning and my hands are usually dried out. If I trim the dead skin off and lotion up every night they seem to not happen as much. Also, liquid bandage works really good at keeping them "together" and not hurting...
  18. I've taken Provera in the past, while trying to conceive. I didn't have any adverse reactions to it, and it did what it was supposed to do! Good luck!!
  19. Don't give up yet! I know at first it can be so disheartening. Honestly though, it took me about 3 months until I saw a real improvement, and then it just got better from there.
  20. Ooooo those look really good!!! Thanks!!!
  21. Hi, I've been gluten-free since April 4th of this year. For the first two weeks I was still having some cross-contamination issues, thus still having problems with diarrhea (my main symptom). After I figured out the problem it was about another two weeks until I was having "normal" bowel movements. I was misdiagnosed for over 10 years, so I never really...
  22. Thanks guys! I made an appt. with my Dr. for next week. I want to see if he'll do some additional blood work, check my Iron levels and things like that. I have checked my makeup, toothpaste, etc. Now that I've gotten the new pots and pans I'm pretty sure that my chance of contamination is pretty low. When you've had stomach problems for so long it's...
  23. I guess I should give a little background. Was diagnosed with celiac disease May '04 by bloodwork. I've had "stomach problems" my entire life, they've been getting worse the last 10-11 years. Looking back now I've realized that there were clues to my celiac disease waaay back when I was a very young child as my baby teeth came in with no enamel on them...
