  1. I have bought from here: Open Original Shared Link I also buy from here: Open Original Shared Link
  2. Oh yeah she is obsessive about it but misses her normal life too. It will take a while for this to be the be normal for her.
  3. The dark chocolate ones we get are Gluten-free Casein-free and no soy they are not milk chocolate.
  4. We have a local brewery that has beer she can have if she wants it eventually. With the bread we've found one she likes but she still prefers the one we used to have before. We make rolls from scratch that taste really nice but lately I'm really time-poor. I've made a few things but not a whole lot. We made banana bread last weekend that was really nice...
  5. My poor little girl asked me if she has to be gluten free for the rest of her life. When I told her that yes she will have to be she was really upset about it because her "old" bread tastes better than her "new" bread and she hardly eats her sandwiches now.
  6. I think roast veg with bean patties for us but I'll see how I feel by then :/ not up to anything at the moment haha.
  7. We had salad wraps but they didn't wrap too well they snapped instead of wrapped
  8. Happy to hear it
  9. We buy fruit and veg mainly when we travel. Although Australia itself is really easy some of the outback country towns in the top half of the country aren't really ok for that type of thing. When we travel we take boxes of packet food which I think are ok to travel with overseas.
  10. Yeah she wants moonsand for her birthday coming up and she'll be 8 then. I make it with the safe flour anyway.
  11. You can cook yours first then theirs in the oil you have used for yours. It's the same if we have a bbq with meat eaters we'll cook our veg food first then they can contaminate it all they like with their animal flesh so long as it's all clean with no traces of anything when you start.
  12. That's a concern I have over it but then the entire centre is a nut-free centre even for staff.
  13. I use golden syrup instead of eggs in mine.
  14. I'm not coeliac but have been gluten free with my daughter for about 6 months or so now. We are both religious and spiritual people. I don't want to say anything controversial either so won't expand on that but in my darkest hours I know I'm not alone
  15. I'm making cottage pie and fried rice but will decide later what we'll have tonight and what we'll put in the freezer
  16. Lucky for me they are not family nor will she have to be there anymore. It wasn't a normal occurance only that my mum was able to have her for that time then take her to my work before she went home so I was then able to work later to make it easier on my workplace. Normally she's with someone else in the afternoons not at my work. I will probably take...
  17. I can't find a decent cake recipe for a gluten free vegan birthday cake! The other food is taken care of: Mini pizzas Chocolate crackles Fruit kebabs Chips Lollies Platter of vegetable sticks with rice crackers and dip But the birthday cake isn't working out so well I've never made one gluten free before and it won't raise! ...
  18. They wonder why I don't like them on that side. No more will I offer to take her so I can work later for them. My poor boss was the one I took it out on the most but it wasn't her fault either.
  19. Our doctor told me that it's like a pregnancy test in that a false positive is highly unlikely but a false negative can easily happen for a number of reasons.
  20. I took my daughter to work with me yesterday for the afternoon because my mum was in town so she gave her the day off school and I told work I can work longer if my mum could bring her out to me which made their day too. Anyway I told them that she isn't to play with the playdough because it's made with wheat flour and with her autism she put things...
  21. With the last cyclone that hit it was pretty much the size of our entire state so we did leave town but it still went inland to where we fled to. At the time of our cyclone in North Qld the southern half of the state was flooded and so was Victoria and New South Wales and the Northern Territory was on cyclone alert while Western Australia was on fire along...
  22. No it can't ever be.
  23. My 7yo was like that but after 6 months off it she's now very sensitive to it. One crumb can mean horrible affects for her for up to a week. I never would have picked up on the fact she has the disease so I'm happy that her Paediatrician was persistent with it and wanted to check her for it. It was of harm to her on the inside even if I didn't pick up...
  24. My mum went gluten free when my child was diagnosed. Her house is fully gluten free now. When we stay with one particular friend I know she's a clean freak (think As Good As It Gets lol) so I'm happy to take our own and know there will be no risk of cross contamination. We haven't stayed anywhere else. We normally book into a motel when we travel other...
