    Thank you SOOO much for all the replies! This is so exciting! And yes, jerseyangel we have the EXACT same hair types....too cool (well, not when there is humidity involved, HA). I really appreciate the suggestions as I was getting quite distraught (i'm anal about my hair, I admit it) about what products I could use that were safe! Hope everyone...

    I've been working hard to make sure I'm using safe shampoos, conditioners, etc. I've always used AVEDA but so many of their products contain wheat or rye or barley, etc. that obviously it doesn't leave me w/ many options to choose from their product line anymore. Does anyone have any safe recommendations for the following???? shampoo deep conditioning...

    Thanks everyone who has posted. I too have always done the points plan and that's what i'm starting out with b/c I'm familiar w/ it and blah, blah. Guess we'll see how it plays out and how challenging it will be with gluten-free foods.     Okay, I did it! I joined WW today! Anybody have any feedback on which plan they think works the best for us as celiacs (points plan or core plan)??? Any good gluten-free food finds that work well w/ WW?? I already know and have accepted that gluten-free bread is a killer b/c of the points per slice. HAHA!

    I'm so jealous....I've tried to e-mail New Grist several times and it keeps coming back. So I then e-mailed the brewing company and NO RESPONE, ARGH! Can you look on your beer and see if there is a 1-800 #. I'm trying to find out if ANYONE around me carries the stuff or will carry the stuff anytime soon. Thanks!

    I have the same prob...up and down, up and down...one day my clothes fit the next day they don't...it's so flippin frustrating....at times it's down right depressing for me....plan to try WW myself...I've heard many people on here say it's helped them...we shall see...in the meantime, I feel LARGE and in charge!

    So...Kariva is the generic form of Desogen? I will be ordering the generic b/c it's cheaper on my plan of course....WOW, all this checking your medicines to be sure it's gluten-free is overwhelming. Thanks for trying to help me out.

    I went to Vegas just recently. I packed what I could but PF Cheng's saved me!!! They were very in the know about celiac and the importance of making sure everything was right everytime I ordered from there. Good luck!!

    No restaruants that i'm aware of....best bet to keep from being sick or contaminated is cook your own food or just order a potato. Good luck and have a wonderful time!

    My experience w/ Raleigh drs has been horrible. I saw 2 different drs in Raleigh, both of whom I fired. I then started seeing a dr in Wilson (just outside of Raleigh).
