    Thanks missy's mom. I also noticed since she went gluten-free in august she talks more than before. I am cooking thanksgiving so her dad isnt gonna argue about it. I think home should be her safe zone to. When it was just me diganosed i keeped my own food and would let them have gluten burlt she is so young i dont have anything but daddys bread that is wheat...

    I am from America living in tennessee origanilly from new york. My mom side is Italian. Great grandparents came from Italy. My dads side is a some german, polish, french. I think thats all.

    Yeah i would ask for a vitamin check because celiacs can have a problem with vitamin deficency. Most gi doctors will want a scope done to for biopsy.

    You should get your vitamins checked. When i got diagnose with celiac i had to get iron iv at hemotligist because my intestents are so damaged that the pills did not absorb like they are supposed to. I will be going back soon to see about more.

    I plan on making turkey, yams, green beens ( if i can make gluten-free green bean cassorle but got to find a recipe for that), try to make a good stuffing thats gluten- free. Also trying to find some good pie love pumpkin pie and maybe gluten-free dinner rolls. This will be the first thanksgiving gluten-free for me and my daughter.

    My daughter had constipation on and off till she got diagnose with celiac 3 mths ago. There were times she would be fine other times she ended up going to doctor. She finally got diganosed after i got diagnose. So it could be.

    My daughter just turn five and has had diabetes for a year and celiac about august diganosed. I have been trying to teach her about asking what stuff she can have and she does good sometime but sometime she gets mad and upset. Just wondering how others deal with it.

    Yeah I seen that at big lots here to a couple days ago. They also are selling gluten-free pasta.

    If your doctor won't do the endoscope i would find a different doctor. Also low iron can be a symptom of celiac. I had that as one of my problems for over ten years never knew till i was in the hospital and they decided to do the scope because of that and blood in the stool.
