    I found a brand at my local grocery store called Puffins. They have cereals and bars and a few other things. They say wheat free, but I don't know if they are gluten free as well. Does anyone here eat that brand? They look really good. I did notice in the ingredients list that it has oat flour. Is oat flour a no-no for celiacs? I've read so much concerning...

    Julie, I am totally brain-dead when it comes to cooking. Would you be willing to share some examples of the combinations of meat, potatoes, etc. that you use? i could really use some recipe ideas. Thanks!

    I didn't realize that you could have positive results when the child was so young. My daughter was tested at one year and at 18 months because she was so sick all the time.     My daughter was diagnosed with celiac less than a month ago. She used to vomit 10 or more times a day since she was born. She is now 2 and a half.     my daughter was diagnosed with acid reflux in may 2004. the doctor put her on prilosec. she seemed to get better, then all of sudden, it got really bad. he doubled her dosage and it didn't seem to help. that's when he did another scope and took biopsys again. this time they came back positive for celiac. he said acid reflux is a "side effect" from Celiac...
