  1. And yet there are so many people who say it's safe to do topical wheat! It drives me absolutely up the wall. It might be safe for SOME people to do topical wheat, but those generalizations should not be applied universally. Some yellow dyes, to return to topic, ahem, are azos, or nitrogen based. To me, they look a hell of a lot like the endocrine disrupting...
  2. I have an itchy head- My fiance says it's because I just read here too much and am hyperaware of it. But no, no, my head actually itches. And neck and shoulders. I hadn't considered *dyes* before, although I knew other people had them. I kind of just didn't want to be the person developing a bunch of environmental allergies. But it's all good. I'm waiting...
  3. Hey guys! Long time, no talk! I've decided to go topically gluten free, since I appear to be super sensitive (I used a concealer yesterday that wasn't vetted gluten free, and that was a miserable mistake). On working my way through three different rounds of shampoos and conditioners, I've noticed that even in some gluten free brands, I was still having...
  4. Are the executives at tv networks completely tone deaf to modern American tv demographics? Not to mention civil rights trends?

  5. #GlutenFree #review redbridge sorghum beer. Calorie filled, amber ale, goes down really smooth. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Delicious.
  6. #GlutenFree #review keep in mind I have tried burts bees ( wow drying, very drying) and garnier fructis (allergic reaction to...something).
  7. He doesn't even get why what he said was so offensive. #NewtGingrich #racism #ohmygodpleasestoptalking

  8. Is absolutely fascinated that Shawn is some degree of catholic and appears to have some level of belief. #psych

  9. I've gotten sensitive to corn since going gluten free. Makes means sick as getting glutened by wheat. It has to do with the whole leaky gut thing. I had to give up doritos *sniff* I bet pop orn is your culprit simply because it's corn and a lot of celiacs are sensitive to it.
  10. #GlutenFree heartland gourmet carrot cake with homemade cream cheese icing, French vanilla cocoa accents, cinnamon http://t.co/hSLSpKIh
  11. I doubt there is an identifiable food item in any of those things. They do burn well in calorimetetry experiments tho. #twinkies #chem

  12. The janitor at work left a used pregnancy test in the closet. He's a guy. I...don't get it? Is this performance art?

  13. I've been gluten free for five months, and I've been finding new improvements every day. The brain fog definitely has cleared up to the point where I can read a whole book or study again. My nails and hair are growing out strong and healthy and beautiful. I have red, curly hair! Who knew?! It's been unhealthy and scraggly brown my whole life, but my natural...
  14. Psych is just pitch perfect, every time.

  15. Like putting that thing you were looking for and I said was sold out right at the front registers. Just saying.

  18. Topomax. Damn you autoreplace!

  19. Review: #StarTrek 1. A short story rendering of some first season eps. Lacking nuance of the show, it's not good, not worth your time.

  20. A lot of old guy going in as the great white savior of the sweet young things planet and race. Did I mention she was PoC? Aggravating. #trek

  21. I disagree. True, they didn't mean to gluten you, but they did. And ruined your shirt, purse, got you sick, ended your night. Businesses have to take responsibility for their mistakes and offer good service. I would have demanded the meal or comped or another meal at a later date on the house. Intention does not mitigate actual damages.
  22. My chiro put it best- in any course of healing, you will experience peaks and valleys. The peak days are when you feel great, the valleys are when you feel terrible. What you want to pay attention to is the overall course of your healing which should have a generally improving trend. A week gluten free, I'm sorry to say, isn't much. You're still almost certainly...
  23. David Tennant is getting married to the girl who played Jenny! Who is the daughter of the guy who played 5. =)

  24. For some reason, doctors have this idea that being gluten free is an inhumane and profound hardship. It is baffling to me, since other people willingly eat fad diets or kosher diets or vegetarian or vegan. No one gets more crap for their diet than celiacs do, and it is a complete mystery. From doctors, when I've said flat out that I have celiac and I...
