  1. I know that, but again no such tool exsists, so there is nothing Scott can do about it at this point.
  2. As you are a cancer doctor, let me ask you this.. how often a day should I smoke? Surely if I do not cough, I am okay right? And if I get the smokers cough, that just means cut back a little, right? I think you can see where my example leads. I aviod high risk of CC, and all known gluten sources, but I accept a certin level of CC risk as just the reality...
  3. ODD! I had TWO big mugs of hot cocoa today using real cocoa, raw sugar, and lactaid fat free milk... I do not feel any worse then before drinking it....
  4. I use an Oster Inspire ExpressBake 2-lb. Breadmaker, cost me $59.99 at target. It works well and is alot cheaper then most of the so called "required" models. I just make all the gluten-free bread in "basic" mode on it, and seems work with them all so far.
  5. We are going cause I am hoping htat my son has out grown his egg allergy for Easter but that wont stop me from asking about a blood test and if they will do it I'll just schedual it. I guess thats the only way I will get any real answers.
  6. I have, and my son meets with our alergy doc next firday, I plan to ask him. Only seen him once or twice, but seems like a nice knowledgable guy so far.
  7.  Nope your 100% correct. They are an oat based cearel, its the first ingredient in them.
  8. First SPELT is wheat, and has gluten. As you found out the hard way. Alot of ppl here like the Open Original Shared Link breads for premade, and Open Original Shared Link gets the highest marks for mixes from most ppl here. I have not tired either yet becuase of my son's egg allergy.
  9. With the execption of the Military, and certin religons, there are none that I can think of. Krispy Cream might not be a good plan, but that does not stop him from bing a backer at a dif place, heck even a gluten-free bakery. Just might have to look a little further if gluten is going to be involved thats all.
  10. No but I would love to hear more!
  11. Since your only one non-gluten meal in to the diet, I woudl say continue to eat gluten and go get tested ASAP. The only reason I say this is future testing for stuff like vitman screenings, ostosprosis checks, and so on WILL NOT be covered by most insurance companies with out the DX (well post-menopause osto screenings are different of course). How...
  12. I would have ot doubt that, what if you have a peanut allergy? Now your dead? Not a good thing for the school!
  13. What is Agave btw? I mean I know its honey, but how is it different from these bears of honey I get from Kroger?
  14. Well siad! BWT got the Kroger brand of rice milk.. WOW its sweet, are all rice milks this sweet?
  15. I cant believe I forgot to look today when I was in Kroger!!! UGH. Might have to drive down there tommorow! The lst time I looked the boxes on the shelf were dated OCT2006 and still had wheat starch in the ingredients. That was few days ago.
  16. I have held my tounge (okay fine I have delete posts) on this topic for one reason, I undertstnad Scotts job becuase I too run a ver active forum. The problem is ANY time you start a thread that invovles religion or politics it breaks down FAST. I have seen it destroy entire communities more then once. Its a real problem that has no good answer. This...
  17. Carrie, I thought about that, but a recent endoscopy could not find any damage at all. So that should mean most of my little vila are okay. Does not mean no damage, of course, but even my iron levels are working back up so some signifigant healing must have been done. The other thing is the villa are in the instestine, the reactions were imediate...
  18. (orginal issue --> Open Original Shared Link Okay well I was at the Kroger buying the lactose free milk to try and I was thristy, so I grabed a " Silk Alive Smoothie" And drank like a 13rd of it. tasted like flavored chalk... But I am gassy/etc just like I was the other day after drinking that milk+lactait pills+hersy's carmel syrup. I tripple...
  19. Just back from Kroger, did not see any of the names mentioned in this thread, and everyone mention milk in some form....
  20. Thanks great aboutyour Pastor! Many ppl have found that even some Catholic Priests will bend the rules for them. Officaly its not alwod, but that does not mean you should not ask. Its up to the local powers that be more often then Rome.
  21. That is correct. And as its a RELIGOUS cermony, it is protected and no one can force them to do other wise in USA.
  22. 5'2" at 100 ponds is not bad.. assuming you have a petite frame. Its on the low end, but not bad.
  23. Inccorect. Catholic Communion is a RELIGOUS cermony for which the government CAN NOT dictate any terms. Like the chuch's policy or not, they are protected from government intrusion. I am not Catholic, nor do I agree with alot of what they preach, however it is their religion, and they are protected by the US Constitution.
  24. Actaully the miltary can turn you down for lost of reasons. For example I have dyslexia, that means I can never serve in the military. Aslo the government can NOT force a relious organization, such as teh Catholic Church, to ordane anyone.
  25. Well to be fair, it can not have soy in it or they would have to disclose it under the new labling laws.
