    I thought it was always wheat unless stated otherwise. I seen Modifed Cornstarch Starch in things, but never Modified Wheat Starch?

    Cant till monday. Big K is put out by "Inter American Products" who is one of the suppliers of store brand food products, and usaually I can only find out about ther stuff by calling Krogers dietation and they have a data base they can look it up in. But htey only on staff m-f durring hte mid day hours.

    Well, just goes to show how stupid I cna be. I saw "Strawberry Soda" for 59 cents per 2 liter, "Big K Brand", and I was like that sounds good. So I bought it (I often buy thier diet cafine free cola soda for a cheap drink). Poured a cup, took a drink and was almost knocked over by how sticky sweet it was, so I looked at the ingredients... MODIFIED FOOD STACH...

    Exactly.. I would still eat gluten-free, but if wanted to go out to eat ANYPLACE it be nice to have some chance at protection.

    We use childerns dye-free benydryl for my son with out problems. Thats a typical laywer CYA response....

    Yep, your why I emailed them (is you recall our thread on it). Otherwise I would have probably written them off. I will be checking them out since we dont have Cascade.

    Thanks richard that is pretty much what I thought, but with gluten I perfer to double ask before eating!

    So sounds like thier stuff is fine? Distilling removes gluten right?

    Nothing close, Publix is the next closest and thats prbly 30-45 mins pending traffic, and happnens to be near Super Walmart. Our area is mostly houses and churches with some fast food and quickie kinds of shops, not many big stores all that close.

    We get Ragu' here too... wish had the time to cook more stuff from scratch like sauce, butrealy for the price and convince ragu is very good

    Just got back from Kroger where I looked agian for the Legondary gluten-free Coco Puffs, no go on that, and no Kriaft Shaker Cheese anywhere.

    Yes, I know, and I have seen them at Wild Oats, but all those stores are a hike for me, not places I can go to a regular baises.

    We have made our own out of pure fruit. Its pretty easy if you have a dehydartor. Prbly can do it in an oven but I have not tried.

    There are no definit answers, but in my experence of reading psots here and talking wtih ppl, most ppl most of teh time will lose many of thier "allergies" once thier gut heals. It could take years though....

    Just looked on thier site, and they have a new sticker on them so gues so! They are EF too!!! Might have to order some!

    Ive used Dayquil and Nyquil with out any issues, but I am not the most senstive person on the site.
