  1. Well depends on who is measuring it and what thier opinion of low is and what kind of agave it is. It is lower then Honey, but last number I saw was 48 (58 is honey, 100 is pure glucose). But I have not spent to much time researching it out. Many ppl will label anything below 55 "low" , but even on that scale, that a very high low
  2. Well LOWER not low...
  3. I read it differently, I read web site in context of the sentence, for example, I have a business with a web site that promotes that busiess, and sells my products. Which is not linked in my sig. I also have a personal website that has nothing more then a few links and personal photos. Ppl here constantly asking for updated photos of my son, so its linked...
  4. Rach... If your trying to aviod sugar, Agave is a poor choice, so is honey, etc. Instead try Stevia or even Xyitol (though I do not know much about it). Agave is a beter choice then white sugar, but it still is a sugar. Same with honey, etc. And that post by Andrea has a lot of good info in it. (though I cheat and drink diet caf free soda, hey...

  8. If htey did not refund your money, hopefully you paid via a VISA/MASTERCARD CHECK CARD, or a CREDIT CARD, so that you can call your bank and refuse the charges. I would not accept paying for this mess at all.
  9. Eggs should never be in any homemade ice cream recipe, they ones that have it are wrong , so that should not be a problem at least.
  10. I am intolerent of certin nut, because if my wife gets even a little I have to rush her to the hosptial!
  11. BAH! Still no word on the filters, so my wife called to follow up and they said they are STILL TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT.
  12. Thanks! As soon as it arrives so tha ihav ehte right modle/part number I wil drop her an emial.
  13. My son has never reacted to any Enjoy life product, but we have only had htem a couple times since no one local carries them (Have to hike out to Wild Oats to get them). Anything else dif in his diet? Maybe he is sick? Is gluten his only issue?
  14. I was just joking considering my picture is on my site linked from my signature, and has been for YEARS (since 1996 or 97). So is my wife, my son, my pets, and 100's of my photowork that I do. Sheesh
  15. Posts like this make me want to put up my picuter so ppl will get to say somthing other then postive comments about everyones looks!
  16. Any one know if their ink stamp stuff is gluten-free? My mom order a ink set for my son.. its not arrived yet thoguh. Can you send me an good email address for them?
  17. If you refering to the ice cream likeyou find ian a grocery story... Edy's, Bryers, and Kroger's Brand (aka Private selection) are all gluten-free execpt the odvious ones like Cookie Dough. Purty refused to tell me gltuen status, so I aviod them. I have not check the other brands, but I would guess most probably are. Here is Diary Queen's gluten-free...
  18. First, the diet test IS a form of testing, and many doctors will accept that as diagnostic. As fro how long... You will probably notice it is a slow road back, it realy depends on the extent of the damage to your intestines. Many ppl report a odvious improvement followed by long slow road for the rest to clear up. Each person is a little different though...
  19. Yea the dough we got is labed in huge letter WHEAT/GLUTEN free, but its not the gliter dough which I never heard of till this thread. Some one once posted that Colorations entire line was gluten-free, but I have not seen anything from them that backs that up, and your post pretty much kills that rumor!
  20. RKB_MD, I have not had time to read everything in this thread, I just wanted to extend a warm welcom to you !
  21. This si what we use, and we supplied my son's pre-school with it. Works very much like the "real" thing. I hihgly recomend it
  22. WEll does he have symptons? Do they seem at all to be related to food? Is he presently eating gluten, in decent quanties daily? If yes then I would say teh full blood test is a good place to start, takes like 5 mins in the office. Once htey have drawn the blood and sent it off, try the gluten-free diet, and be ectremly strict, no mistakes at all for a while...
  23. I have had 2 endoscopes and 1 colonoscopy for the same reason, if they are looking for things IN ADDTION to celiac disease, then it makes perfect sense to get the biosopy while your there.
  24. Thats the problem.. symptons can be dangerously unreliable in the celiac disease world. First you need truly gluten-free oats ( Open Original Shared Link CALIMS to have some but by far MOST oats are not unconitmainated) and second you would have to eat ALOT of them for an extended period, then re-do your testing to see if its impacted you. First...
  25. And if it comes back non-postive? You still wont know. You do what you think is best for you, but I just want to make sure you understand that its FAR from a sure thing, and far from a definitive answer.
