  1. Gluten is not a problem for me (yet?), only for my son. And not had any dairy (or gluten) yet today (well at time of taht post). House is gluten-free for our son's sake, so dinner, desert, etc all gluten-free. I am sure dairy in of itsself is not an issue, aside form sugar angle. Pain has passed. I am wondering it was a gas poket from having my insides...
  2. Yea, the first gluten-free pasta we tried was the Tinkayada one, and after that we treid some others.. NO THANKS! Gonna have to be a gluten-free pasta snob!

  4. Lister, it might be "realy hard" to find a better job, but you should look. I think you can probably find better pay then that if you put you mind to it an look. Esply since you work around gluten constantly, you can never be truly gluten-free while you have that job.
  5. grrrr okay fine, still not enough carbs I'll add a chololate doughnut next time (did not end up eating that lunch had a three chees bacon burger with fries instead...)
  6. Lister, you should consider looking for better work. Can you lift boxes? UPS from what I understand pays more then that for ppl to load thier trucks. I am sure there are other jobs out there in that price range too. I hope I do not sound harsh, but if you can find better work, suddenly everything will start looking better. Aslo ever doc and hosptial we have...

  9. Sooo fresh veggies dont count as carbs... or they just not enough? I think Tiffinay is right, I thinking way more restrictive on carbs then I should be...

  11. Soo then the "breakfast"(s) were the right idea, but the lucnh (orginal) plan needs more carbs? The lettuice mix was realy one of the baged salads Dole Very Veggie + tomateo. Yea appear to be be ocer the stomache thing at least... thansk!

  24. The sercet of good ice cream is FAT. Most of the flavor/texture of the icecream is in it. Ive tried mixtures of milk, 1/2n1/2, and whipping cream.. but in the end the best success I have is alwas been with leaving the "milk" out. 1/2n1/2 works just as well realy, there is not a heck of a lot of dif between it and heavey whipping cream, at least form this...
  25. Hmm I have to double check, casue I do not recall seeing "natural falvors" on the specifc varties I some times get. In fact as I recall it was "Milk, Cream, Sugar, Coffee". I know some of thier "all natural" flavors have extra junk added though.... But nothing is as good as making it your self! I use ALL heavey whipping ccream, no "milk" at all heheh...
