  4. McDonalds fries are indeed gluten free in Canada. They also have dedicated fryers in a different area so they don't make a mistake of putting the fries in the chicken nuggets oil. I have ate there quite a bit since I found out a few months ago. Its not so weird to order a meal with no bun either. They say it happens all the time. I know its a risk eating...
  5. Was just at the Southgate Edmonton Safeway and noticed the new Kinnikinnick Soft Bread was in stock. Not a bad price at $3.99 since its 4.99 at the Kinnikinnick store.
  6. I got a huge list of gluten free chips I will send you in a private message. If anyone else is interested I will post the whole list here.
  7. Thats awesome. I was eating a ton of those just months ago when the doc told me I can eat as much gluten as I wanted before I got scoped. I wonder if they changed in Canada also. Thanks for the info. I wonder if those Nacho Cheese taco shells from Taco Bell are now gluten free then.

  9. You could check out Open Original Shared Link they have a huge selection of multivitamins with a bunch of reviews. I was looking at NOW Foods multi since they are usually soft gels but I cant see any info on it.
  10. I think Metamucil is just the name brand of psyllium husk. I dont touch it because of the added stuff they put in it. I do use whole psyllium husk powder though. You can also get it in pill form but you have to take so many a day it gets really expensive for that convenience. psyllium husk dosent taste good at all straight up with water but I force myself...

  12. I used to only eat Udis bread til I heard about kinnikinnick's new Soft Bread. Its by far the best out there. Only thing that comes somewhat close is Glutino Genius but I dont touch it unless I cant find kinnikinnick
  13. Thats actually a good idea, I never even thought of eating slower haha im such a noob at this.
  14. I actually bought a box of frozen burgers. I am just going to buy ground beef and freeze burgers for now on. I will be sure to compare the ingredients if someone in the house happens to buy them again just to try to find out what it is. I figured I would have symptoms sooner or later. I read once you rid your body of gluten, once you take in a little bit...
  15. I will look into that. Thanks for your reply. Also I miss Twizzlers so much. I used to eat them all the time!
  16. Yes I did prepare and eat them at home. It could be CC since I am the only one that sticks to the gluten-free diet in my home. We do share the same pans and dishes. I was never really worried about it before since being glutened didnt effect me at all. I am always carefull to wash pans really good though. I handle fats just fine. I could eat anything at...
  17. I have been gluten free for 5 months now, im one of those that dosent feel any different after being glutened. This past week after eating a few burgers with gluten free bun of course I felt like I was going to throw up. I started dry heaving but couldnt throw up. About a week later I made some breakfast sausages and after one sausage it hit me right away...
  18. Do you know if 5000 UI is an huge number? I know they come in 1000, 5000 and 10000 so I would think anybody would be fine with 5000 UI a day
  19. Alright I will do that after I go for my 6 month test. Hopefully im able to get them both. I wont know what the numbers mean but im sure people around here will know all about it.
  20. My Dietitian told me to get on Vitamin D3, Calcium and a Multivitamin. She never told me what amount. I was unaware of all the different amounts that were available at the time. Right now im taking 500mg of calcium and magnesium with 200 UI vid D. 2000 UI of D3 and 1 multivitamin. Would it be safe to bump up my D3 dosage to 5000 UI along with the 200 UI...
  21. Im scheduled to go for blood tests every 3 months since my diagnosis. I had it done at 3 months and I never heard anything at all from the doctor. My 6 month test is coming up. Should I be expecting a call from the doc? I figured I would hear from them either way so I could find out where im at.
  22. I noticed a few months ago that the Chicken Knorr Bouillon Cubes are fine (the Knorr chicken powder has gluten) and the Beef cubes also have gluten. I had to go to a health food store to find gluten-free Beef Bouillon. Could be I was just confused. I will have to check it out next time I go shopping.
  23. TGI Fridays bacon and cheese potato skins are gluten free. Cosco is the only place I can find them.
  24. I would also like to know what the name brand is. Maybe its in Canada too.
