  1. Thank you for saying this! I have been eating Gluten Free Chex for a few months. Yesterday that was almost all I had due to a busy day at work. I was sick as a dog! Had some again this morning and have been in the bathroom all day. I'll look into the sufites.
  2. No, this is the one, but mine said "New" on the label. Open Original Shared Link
  3. I am Gluten Intollerant, and I have been able to drink Chocolate Ovaltine until recently. The canister now says "New" Ovaltine, but it doesn't have Malt listed as an ingredient. I'm sure there's already a topic on this, but the new look of the forum is hard to navigate through quickly. I can't find anything on the internet about the "New" Chocolate Ovaltine...
  4. I'm sorry. My point was, that I felt like the enzyme had extended my reaction time. Not that it had caused the reaction.
  5. I recently realized I was consuming gluten while on vacation. I had purchased some of this enzyme for "just in case". I don't believe I will take anymore of it, because I think I felt worse having slowed down the process. Instead of the D 20 minutes later, I had horrible muscle and joint pain that lasted a few days. This was one of the worst reactions...
  6. I'm so sorry to read that all of you are having the same problems with doctors, symptoms, diet, etc...as I am, but I am so glad to have found this forum so I know I'm not the only one going through this!
  7. My daughter is allergic to soy, ginger, sesame, and garlic. Those 4 ingredients seem to be in everything! Now I'm watching for those 4 for her, plus gluten for me. It's crazy what's mixed in with your foods!
  8. I had a migraine & sinus infection for 2 years. I had 2 root canals, and it was suggested I have a 3rd root canal. I was waiting for the new year insurance to roll around for the 3rd, and went gluten free. The migraine & sinus infection were almost completely gone by the end of the first week! About 3 months into being gluten free, I realized...
  9. I've found that a heating pad works really well. Sometimes I have all over body ache, and use my electric blanket as a whole body heating pad - laying on top of it.
  10. On vacation in Myrtle Beach with the extended family this week. Waiter : So what happens when you eat gluten? Me : Well, sometimes I get a migraine, or all over body ache, or you might never get me out of your restroom! Guessing the waiter won't ask anyone else that question!
  11. Being gluten intolerant, and become sick in several different ways when glutened, I'm not willing to chance a rash, joint pain, headache from lotions/shampoo, or absorption via tp.
  12. I understand completely. I've been gluten free since February 2012, which isn't that long, and am headed on vacation with my parents and my sister's family. Instead of looking forward to a week at the beach, I've been worried about what was I going to eat, and what if I gluten myself? Also, I have quite a few allergies and I'm worried about being allergic...
  13. I get a B12 shot once a month at the doctor's office. I have not noticed any ups or downs.
  14. The rash actually looks just like the pictures that "Aeriel" posted in response to your pictures, Dani.
  15. I'm hoping someone out there can help me answer a few questions. I have been gluten free just over 4 months. I started this on the advise of my doctor. I was having my "yearly" checkup, but actually it was my almost weekly apt for a 2 yr migraine/sinus infection, combined with horrible joint & muscle ache. I was lethargic and had mouth sores. I...
  16. I have been gluten free for about 4 months now. I was not tested, but am allergic to so many other things the doc suggested I try removing gluten from my diet. My 2 year Migraine, and 2 year long sinus infection were gone by the end of the first week! I was not tested, but I KNOW when I've been glutened! I have the big D within 1/2, sometimes followed...
  17. I get the same thing in my hips, knees, ankles, feet. Originally it was in my hands, but that seems to have gone away. This past week I've had the same feeling in my scalp!
  18. Gluten free since 2/12

2 yr migraine, 2 yr sinus infection - gone!

Chief complaint when glutened - muscle & body ache!

    Stomach issues, rash, itchy scalp

    Environmental & food allergies

    3rd round of allergy shots!

  19. I have been gluten free for about 3 months, and still have both reactions. Sometimes it's the 30 minute later upset stomach and/or headache. Sometimes it's full body ache 36 hrs later. I haven't been able to figure out which is going to happen, or why. Yesterday I ate all "known safe" foods, but my body did a full REJECT of all contents late...
  20. I'm sorry to hear that your gluten-free has probably glutened herself. That's an awful feeling. I'm curious about the Margaritas too. I've been told they're gluten free, but have felt bad afterward.
  21. I am new to the gluten free world. I was feeling great when I first got off of gluten, but now not so much. I'm wondering about Personal Items. Can anyone tell me about Spring Grove tp (work), Dial bar soap? What about Tide and Downy? Playtex Tampons? I have seen topics on these, but many are from several years ago.
  22. I know what you mean. Last week I glutened myself and could hardly move my joints and muscles! How on Earth did I walk around Baltimore last Summer in the 100+ heat? So glad to be feeling better! Sorry you were glutened! It's hard to believe anyone could understand how awful it feels.
  23. Any ideas why it's worse now?
  24. I have been Gluten Free for about 2 months. I feel SO much better. The 2 year Migraine is gone, and so is the 2+ year Sinus Infection. I had chronic joint and muscle ache before too. But it seems now, like if I accidentally "gluten" myself the symptoms are MUCH worse. I can barely move without tremendous pain. Is this "normal"?
