    If you also have little saliva, dry mouth, making it difficult to swallow. It may be autoimmune related. First thing that comes to mind is sjogrens. Have you seen a doc for these issues? You might want to. BTW, I am not a doctor.

    Hi there, I believe getting a Celiac dx is a personal decision. It was suggested to me by my rheumatologist that I try the diet. It worked and that's all the confirmation we need.     I readily agree. Some type of nerve, inflammatory issue. I have spinal stenosis, peri-formis syndrome, sacroilitis and bursitis. I take steroids, get injections, take anti-inflammitories and muscle relaxers. I see a rheumatologist for my issues. Might be a good place to start. Be well.

    I have a few tests coming up. A tilt table test, an EEG and EMG. These are to check if my syncope has advanced and the others are to check for neurological issues. For me it's arm weakness and blood flow issues. The more I know, the more I can do about it. I am hopeful for answers.

    I have hashimotos witch is underactive thyroid. It is also an autoimmune disease as is celiac. Some research points to a possible link between the two. A simple blood test can find a problem with the thyroid. Your general doc can take care of it.
