  1. I must admit I have always thought it possible. If you think about it, anything entering the nose can end up in the stomach as the nasal passages 'drain' down the back of the throat and enter the stomach.
  2. I went through similar things to you, with tiredness and shakiness etc. (this is a very simplified version as I was in fact very ill for a long time). I was suffering from malabsorption of nutrients due to celiac. It would be wise to get your vitamin and mineral levels checked, also your thyroid.
  3. It's possible you have IBS as well. A lot of symptoms are similar to coeliac disease. Stress causes IBS and a high fibre diet can rectify it over time. I know from personal experience that it's more difficult getting fibre when you are celiac or gluten/wheat intolerant, but it is possible.
  4. Try not to panic. I know that might sound easier said than done. Everyone's reactions are different, not everyone reacts badly to it. I agree with previous comment, drink plenty of water, it helps to flush toxins out of the body quicker. I have found some gluten and wheat free Slippery Elm capsules which I take to sooth my gut and find it works quite well...
  5. Hi Nicole, has anyone tested your TSH levels recently, like you said it could be under treated Hashimotos. I had under active thyroid diagnosed many years before Coeliacs disease and I lost 50% of my hair. Fortunately I had very thick hair then, and lots of it, prior to losing it. I did notice more hair loss when my Coeliacs symptoms were at their worst....
