  1. I think your symptoms are quite usual detox symptoms -in this case from gluten.Detoxing is a weird thing -some hours you are full of energy and some you are weak and tired-it depends on what detox stage your body is in - dumping toxins in your blood or getting it out with sweat, urine, stools, etc. You could help your intestines with enema or laxative herbs...
  2. I decided not to get tested, because cutting a piece of intestine doesn't sound so beningn to me, and I believe it encourages cancer growth in a long term, and blood tests seem to be not very accurate anyway. Of course that leaves me to try and see, if I am just gluten sensitive and can be not that awfully careful with trace amounts as celiacs have to...
  3. I think it does have a connection. My periods were like a clock every 28 days most of my life and about a year ago they went on totally weird timing. I even thought I had early menopause. Then slowly I started getting digestive symptoms too. But very soon since I started gluten free I got a normal period and now had it twice -even with a white head pimple...
  4. Thank you for sharing. So it wouldn't work for person who ate gluten free for over a month then? Some websites say, that anitbodies are not made after 3-6 months of gluten free diet, but this test might be weaker than the one in the office.
  5. Yes, and the same day as I had chevre, unfortunately, so it could be either one.
  6. Thank you so much for your thoughts. Trader Joe's had a salad to try there, and then I bought ingredients and made some at home too.Hmm, maybe I do react to goat's milk...As far as cow's dairy goes, I eat little of it - if I happen to eat more cheese, it doesn't feel that good, so I generally avoid it, although I eat butter. My dad is actually allergic to...
  7. I ate some in the salad bought from Trader Joe's, and got symptoms again which I didn't have since I ate gluten free. Although I have to admit, that I also ate Trader Joe's vegetable chips, which are made in the same facility as wheat, but I really love them, and I hope, that my sensitivity is not that bad Anyway, the reason I suspect chevre is because...
  8. So Culturelle has just one strain of good bacteria?
  9. I think 5 peppers plus a steak might have been simply too much. Any food will not feel too good, when we eat too much.I was also wondering if food combining would help?
  10. Ha ha ha, I thought my were growing faster too, and I need to cut them as I play guitar and a piano.
  11. Thank you! It will be nice to try, when our tometoes will start going crazy with fruit.
  12. I usually eat fruit for breakfast or drink fresh juice, when I have time to make it. Today -honeydew melon.
  13. Grapes. Apple. Red lentils with spices and some steamed veggies.
  14. Thank you, Kelleybean! I will check them out. Yesterday I baked some gluten free wholesome ingredients millet cookies, and my husband gobbled them up...Well, I ate some and my son ate some, but I hoped to have some for today too- no such luck. I guess gluten free is not that bad.
  15. Gluten free is not much more expensive, if you eat whole foods versus prepackaged stuff, which is not as healthy anyway. I am not planning to get diagnosed(I am a bit allergic to doctors ), but I do feel better after I stoped gluten -I hope it will last. I felt better for a while on whole foods only, but then bloating and pain came back-I guess on the...
  16. I was nauseated most of my pregnancy most of my waking time - and I am wondering, if it had anything to do with glutein. The thing I could handle was fruit. I love cucumbers, and coudn't even look at them, when I was pregnant. The thing that helped a bit was sucking on the lemon, but it can't be good for the teeth, so rinse them often...
  17. I might not be popular, but I am trying to see the other side too. While I don't know, if any of this applies to your situation, but some people make their disease their indentity and complain about it everyday and almost every minute. I had a friend who was complaining all the time(while not about disease) and I would feel so exausted and feeling bad after...
  18. I love braggs aminos, I am just wondering about MSG in it, it seems like their proccess concentrates naturally accuring MSG in their sauce.
  19. I would just trust my body and maybe even juice fast for a bit. Healing takes lots of enegry and digesting food takes so much, that not eating actually helps, and juices(freshly made, not from the bottle)nourish you pretty well in terms of micronutrients.
  20. I am gluten free just for about a week, and got my period, and even though I feel a bit bloated, my belly is still much smaller than before I stopped glutein. I do avoid proccessed foods(oaccasionally I eat salad dressing with minute amounts of sugar in it and such)for a while now and eat lots of raw foods. Even if you have some issues with your health, eating...
  21. I really like juice fasting -even weekly one day one is very good. The longest I did was 14 days. If someone would make the juice and clean up afterwards, I could juice fast for long time, but it gets so tiring to do that after a while, especially that i still need to feed my family too. Juice fasting takes out all the swelling from all the tissues so...
  22. I am looking for whole foods cookbook without refined sugars, white rice and similar things. What are your favorites?
  23. I am trying to do that. Actually, the first thing I did was to eat unprocessed for 2 months after my bouts of indigestion, tiredness and it helped somewhat, but then on some days I would still feel awful, and I noticed a funny thing -I was getting thinner in my thighs and buttocks, but my waist was still tight, and then I decided to try gluten free. I am eating...
  24. I am very new to gluten-free, so I keep it simple(and try to eat as little proccesed as possible foods) - steamed cauliflower and green beans, potatoe salad(I made with pickles and homemade dressing), and organic chicken leg.
  25. I was just wondering about that too. Gluten free foods with sugar and other proccessed stuff can't be that healthy.
