    Hi Christine, My son's four and I did both just because he had to be put under. Probably at your daughter's age it's more of a light sedation so I agree with you that I would just do upper.

    Thanks, Jebby. While I have you, maybe, can any of the antibodies related to celiac pass from mother to child through BF? I know gluten itself can't, at least according to my doctor, but if Mom has celiac and baby has celiac and baby gets the atnibodies through the breast milk, could it cause malabsorption?

    I think I read the 1-2% fasle negative statistic on the University of Chicago website but my general experience has not been that doctors test properly.     I just feel like these tests have to improve. I had to keep my four year old on gluten in order to get his endoscopy and it's just barbaric. It's like if a doctor tells you, "I think there might be broken glass in your cereal.
