    ARCHIVED Steroids?

i wasn't saying that steroids are given to help with my celiac. there are other issues going on that are causing problems with my stomach and steroids is aparently the solution. I'm not a doctor and I don't really claim to be, Mine if trustworthy and i listen to him.....i just know that steroids in general cause people to gain weight and that my stomach...

  6. i was diagnosed by the blood test and i've done significantly much better on the gluten free diet than before......however, if you're on a gluten free diet and haven't had any gluten there really is no need for the blood test, because your antibody levels would be back to normal......i'm suprised the bloodtest was that traumatic to begin with, i'm sorry about...

  9. that wouldn't suprise me.......i mean i got sick something fierce both times i ate them. and i'm not a super sensetive celiac.

    ARCHIVED Wendy's

it's not that i even expect them to care about the celiac disease....but in general, to make fun of a customer.....i mean working in fast food is a people oriented job, so i'm just sayin if you don't like people you don't have to work there.... i'm a bartender and it'd be like me laughing and rolling my eyes saying "no salt? who doesn't put salt on the...

    ARCHIVED Wendy's

Now normally I wouldn't complain about it and in the past I haven't.....I guess this just hit me on the wrong day. I'm going to right headquarters of Wendy's about the way their employees react to a "no bun" request, this is the 4th wendy's in as many states that have to my face laughed when i ask for no bun. even though the sign on their menu says...
  14. ok Utz...i've seen their factory. the risk for cross contamination is very little, they have seperate belts for seperate things. if they say it is gluten free on the bag . Utz is a company that is very very reliable, I know many of the people high up in the company because I'm from that town....I'm not saying that you didn't get glutened however, are you...
  15. well i'll step it up.....i've cheated, several times......if i have a free weekend where i don't have to do anything i would cheat. however, i've been having some other health problems on top of everything and i haven't cheated in a month...trying to keep up the trend......but i tell you what...sometimes that sub or piece of pizza really was worth it.
  16. June 06.....i hid that box up in the top cabinet for when i have guests. ha. but like i said, my reaction to the "gluten free" cocoa puffs was rough.....i'm 0 for 2.....i think i'll try ONE more time when i have some extra days to lay around and then decide if i'll believe the whole safe for us again..... i imagine the cross contamination factor would...

  18. I'm in WV and found the cocoa puffs...........i'm from PA and also found them there..from my understanding at this point the only box of trix that don't have wheat startch at the bottom are the small ones in the three packs with cocoa puffs and something else........unless that new 75% more box doesn't have it, i wouldn't know about that......i haven't found...
  19. yes except for me. who has a box of the cocoa puffs ha.....there was an email however about them being in the small three pack boxes being the first to have the change....the box that i have says 20% more or something....i don't know what to tell ya'll other than keep looking? sorry....i'm trying to be as big of a help as possible, ha...i know it isn't much
  20. I found boxes that seemed to be gluten free, and their website isn't updated, which i posted when i posted the emails....now i tried to cocoa puffs twice and had a reaction both times, but the ingrediants seem clear. i understand you not wanting to believe my information, i'm just puttin it out there, it's up to you......i'm sure we'll know more about this...
  21. so you're saying i should jump into the activia? how does it make you feel? can you notice a difference like they say you will?
  22. well it isn't that their yogourts aren't gluten free.......it seems like they just want to save their tails just in case someone has a reaction. they have this new activia stuff that is supposed to help your digestive system that i was looking forward to trying and now i'm kinda nervous to....
  23. Here are some of the e-mails.....aparently General Mills has stated yes, these are gluten free Actually, I have called General Mills to inquire about the gluten-free status of Cocoa Puffs...and I did this before making the initial posting. I have been waiting to have a box of Trix that appears to be gluten-free on hand before I call General Mills...
