    Ok so i'm completely frustrated, hence the title....Does anyone poop more than normal? it isn't always like D but it always seems like an emergency and it's almost everyday. I can't even tell you the last time that I felt normal. It's getting to the point that I won't go out much anymore because I'm afraid I won't find a bathroom in time....I've posted...

    hmm, does immodium even help you when you're throwing up?? i use it when i have a D attack.........and it helps.......a stomach bug unfortunately usually has to take its course. the gatorade or pedialyte has helped me in the past with that stuff

    Dr. Paul Thomas in Hanover, PA is wonderful. He's very knowledgeable about celiac disease and a wonderful doctor!

    ok so this clan thompson.............i just got an email saying that it is stating that cocoa pebbles and fruity pebbles are NOT gluten free..........anyone hear this, i'll be really upset if this is true.

    I agree, it's really easy to make icing but that isn't the point......I just want at least one thing to be easy as in all i have to do is open a container! i'll never understand why all of these companies thing that you have to put something from wheat in every product....i mean wheat in twizzlers! come on!

    hmm.....i have a duncan hines homestyle chocolate frosting which i was told by the company was gluten free.........the label doesn't say anything otherwise either......kinda confusing

    hmm, with wendy's. the butterfinger topics that they have for the frosty's are in a seperate little package, you put the topping on yourself.....most of the wendy's i've been to has been like this, maybe yours is different? i thought i saw butterfinger on the gluten free list? was i wrong?!

    It actually depends on the brand. Some swedish fish have wheat in them, like twizzlers do...however, the orignial brand, i forget what it is called, with the blue and yellow box. HA, sorry.....those are gluten free. thank goodness

    Ok.....so lesson learned......don't just trust the companies when they say "Contains milk ingrediants".....I got betty crocker chocolate frosting and didn't realize it had WHEAT STARCH in it....i mean, wouldn't that be considered a wheat product and yet it wasn't listed........the one time i put my guard down and didn't read everything on the label. there...

    thank goodness......i saw that someone posted that tic tacs were not gluten free after i had just popped like 4 in my mouth......they've just been sitting on the table staring at me since.....i'm glad now i can make my breath minty tic tacy fresh again

    since as a freshman you'll most likely have to live on campus your best bet would be to, once you figure out where you are going, to contact the "chef" at the school as well as residence life. I was able to work out a deal that had me pay less than the normal meal plan since i wasn't able to eat the majority of the things in the caf. however, many places...

    i eat boxes of them at a time as well......i've never noticed a problem with them....i'm sorry that they make you feel so crummy!

    I think it would be beneficial to write an email to all of the cooks on the food network and places like that. I'm not sure I agree with the comment about Oprah only caring about celebs after her show giving a man who put a child molester behind bars 100,000 bucks....However, I do feel it would be a difficult task to get onto her show.     that's weird, because a lot of people that i know use sprite when they aren't feeling well due to gluten.....i've never heard that coke wasn't gluten free before, i find this very strange...

    So i just had a labroscopy and I'm recovering and then suddenly last night i got a 100.7 temperature and it's been that high since......I'm not sure what the deal is because I"m on antibiotics and that should fight anything that could be getting me sick.....does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong. I'm miserable.........i can barely eat , i'm so tired...

    I went through some of this during college too.......now in grad school i have a bit of an attitude about it and just tell people if they'd like to experience what happens when my food gets contaminated or when i eat gluten containing food then i'll gladly let them come and spend the day with me when it happens unfortunately, some professors are so caught...

    thanks for the link to this thread, i apparently just overlooked it while searching around..........my experience with IC isn't so much the urgency to go, but frequency and issues with completion....but the painful sex is the worst part for me.. all of this is so frustrating after going through the surgery for endometriosis only to find out it was all...

    you always have the mexican chains like qudoba and chipotle that have gluten free options.......i know they can't compare to an authentic mexican restaurant but sometimes are a nice substitute!

    I have a birthday coming up and i make my own cake, I'm tired of the same ole recipes that i use.....SOO i was wondering what is your favorite birthday cake or cupcake recipe so i can try something new this year!!
