    Does anyone else have the bladder syndrome interstitial cystitis? My doctors all thought that I had endometriosis and I went and had the labroscopy then boom......it wasn't that, and now here i am recovering and now i have to see a speciailist.....and guess what the treatment is, drug therepy AND more DIETARY GUIDELINES..........uugggh. Just wanted to know...

    The dr. put me on neurotrythipalyne...........definately not spelled right but i don't have the medicine near me to spell it correctly....it's a mild anti-depressant/anti-anxiety that they give to people for IBS...I've been having a lot of stomach issues as of late and he put me on it as a trial basis, so far so good....it even helps with my anxiety about...

    I was in weis markets the other day and picked up the corn nuggets (corn pops) store brand for my parents and after reading the box they appear to be gluten free. I didn't try it because i'm tired of taking risks with things, but that may be a good place to contact to ask....I'm not sure where Weis markets are all located it could just be a PA thing....

    i use a spoonful of peanut butter! it always works for me!! i heard in one of my pysc classes that it's a mental thing though, like if you think drinking from the opposite side of the cup gets rid of hiccups they usually will go away. who knows, but i like peanut butter so i stick with that

    twizzlers, honey glazed ham and an apple cider that used a certain spice that they only informed me of after i was sick and finally called the company....also, certain brands of swedish fish have wheat in them....the orignial brand doesn't luckily.

    thanks for the kind word everyone!!! today is a bad day.....i just don't understand how you can have 2 days where you feel 100% and then all of the sudden it hits you like a wave.....can't wait to see how i feel after all this nonsense

    So after many many months of not feeling well, questioning everything i eat, even sometimes avoiding food all together. It occured to me that every doctor that I saw was placing the blame on celiac disease, which is quite a pet peeve of mine. so finally when i was at my gynocologist i put my food down. turns out i have endometriosis, which can be the cause...

    Does anyone have some really fantastic appetizer recipies for a new years party that i'm hosting....I found a few but I am sure that you guys have a TON that you could help me with. I threw the hat in this year and said that I was hosting and I would be able to eat everything at my party!! starting off the new year right instead of starving!!

    Honestly, I barely eat anymore....when I do i make sure that it is known gluten free stuff that i can eat and still sometimes that doesn't even work.

    hmm, sorry about that, i guess it didn't post everything. I was wondering if an all organic non processed food diet would be the way to go....I know about the naturally gluten free foods but I don't know much about putting together a non processed meal or anything...can anyone help???     I thought it would be fun for everyone to post their favorite christmas cookie recipie.....My family does this HUGE cookie exchange and I can't ever really take part in it anymore. So I thought maybe this year I could gather up some great cookie recipies for y'all and then have my own options!!!

    That's weird........I had Amy's gluten-free mac and cheese and i got really sick too......i went to a play and had to run out, it was so embarassing! I couldn't understand what the problem was because i'm very careful especially when i have somewhere to go.......i guess maybe you're right!

    I used to work in a bar and most places soak their bar guns in soap and water or bleach. The questionable things that come out of the bar gun are the juices, cranberry and orange, that is usually where i ran into the problem..However, if the bar or restaurant are "clean" then usually their soda gun is as well,

    So i was pretty sick for awhile and couldn't figure out why....turns out Apple Cider was the problem....I read the ingredients and everything seemed totally fine, but it just made me ridiculously sick....I wouldn't have figured out what the problem was if it weren't for my mom making me a completely gluten free meal and me having apple cider with the meal...

    I've had the pasta and cereal....the pasta is pretty good however the cereal seems to be a big miss. Maybe it is just me, but the ceerios are just horrible....something about the flour used gives it a pretty terrible aftertaste when milk is added. They tast ok without milk, in small amounts.     I've actually been getting sick from the tomato sauce, I've read the ingrediants and everything looks ok, but i noticed the tomato fiber ingrediant is the common factor between the sauces that make me sick and the ones that don't. Maybe it's just the extra fiber or maybe it's something that triggers my celiac disease...all i know is that it kicks me right...
