  1. Ok, so i belong to this sillyaks email group and i got a hit about these heartlands finest cere-o's cereal that aparently were excellent and tasted like cheerios. Obviously i got really excited about it and went and ordered 3 bags. Regular, Cinnamon and Raspberry. Well not only were they small bags for a lot of money like a lot of our products seem to...
  2. Ok......now i'm the first person to say that being on a gluten free diet hasn't been easy, and although i used to cheat i've been much better. however, i only have changed my diet. am i the only one who thinks that getting gluten free soap, hair products, makeup and everything is a bit overboard?? once i stopped cheating with my diet i've felt a lot better...
  3. I drink it too with no problems..........I'm glad it worked for you!! The different absolut flavors make for an excellent evening :)try absolut apeach with orange juice and a splash of genadine, or the usual absolut vanilla with coke......also good is absolut rasberri, manderin and then sex on the beach stuff....... sorry i'm a bartender ahha!
  4. Utz is pretty good about that stuff, I'm from that area and have been in their factory, there definately is little room for cross contamination because their pretzels are made on the other side of the facility!!!
  5. fat's ok every once in awhile......i don't care about that sort of stuff right now, i'm 23....i eat what tastes good, and i can get away with it thanks to being an athlete!!! although, i don't like sour cream so i'm ok in my book
  6. FINALLY!!!!!!!! I CAN HAVE ABSOLUT APEACH!!!
  7. When I go to TGIFridays I eat their Potato Skins....we can have them in the box where you buy them in the store so I don't see why it'd be any different at the restaurant......... yea, looks like Paul from guest relations didn't get the memo out celiac disease
  8. wow, i live in gettysburg and i've never heard of these groups! thanks for the info!!
  9. not that i'm away of, yet anyway
  10. Hey everyone......I was wondering if anyone had any issues with the allergy medicine Alavert...I took some yesterday and I had a serious attack, the worst that I've had in a long time, thank goodness I was at home. I didn't really think to look to see if I could even have it, needless to say it didn't help my allergies and brought on some other not so...

    ARCHIVED Applebees

Alrighty then, so Applebees is a no go........what' about Garfields or Ruby Tuesdays, anyone have any things to say about there?
  12. I actually work at a bar and those cranberry and oj drinks have made me have some sort of reaction....also, be careful when eating out at a bar....they cook everything together , even if you ask them not too, i had to learn my lesson the hard way

    ARCHIVED Applebees

I'm sure this has been posted before BUT i was wondering if Applebees had anything gluten free or if anyone has had any experiences with them?
  14. I've always had Malibu as my drink of choice, from my understanding all rums are gluten-free. I've been drinking Malibu for years and never had any problems. And I'm one of those extremely sensitive people where I could just ingest a small bite of something and get sick.
  15. I'm actually eating Branch's candy corn now and I've never had a problem. I guess it just depends on how you react to things, I know a lot of people have problems with MSG and I personally never have
  16. I live in the battlegrounds.....but currently am away at graduate school, should be back in that area on and off throughout the next year though
  17. The past few times that I've been to Outback they can't find their gluten free menu and I've gotten sick at least twice. I really think that all restaurants need to hire someone like us to modify and make sure that the menus are followed. I work in a bar and grill and they don't even really care about people like me!!
  18. How do they do a test to notice that you have endometrioso?
  19. ha i didn't realize it had its own nickname!
  20. I've always used Immodium, however, you should only take immodium if you need it, taking it everday is dangerous just like taking any medication everyday for 3 years. Even if you dont' get diagnosed, try the Gluten free diet, your use of immodium will cut down emmensly.
  21. what's the big "D"
  22. I understand the frustration about going from being very thin to gaining some of the weight back and having that flucuating. Although being thin is nice, it isn't always healthy in the way the weight comes off. The best thing you can do is be patient...if you're still having food problems see a nutritionist, I had an easier transition because my mother...
  23. I freeze the ones i don't use, but not for a long period of time...you can keep them however you like, once again, not for a long period of time. It's usually better to keep them in an air sealed container... as for pizza.......chebe bread is very good you can go to www.chebe.com
  24. Sheesh. Can't we ever feel normal? I mean isn't it bad enough that we have this celiac disease but we have to have all these other issues too. I almost forget what it feels like for my stomach not to feel weird or for my body not to ache...thanks for the support though everyone....hopefully we'll figure out ways to fix what ales us. as for the guys...
  25. I know this is a little bit akward for some people, but, every since I've been diagnosed with celiac disease intercourse has been incredibly painful. Does anyone else have this problem. I've tried lubracants, even talking to my gynocologist and she isn't very helpful, maybe she just doesn't know the disease. Any help or support at least?
