  1. I can help cater, if you are interested.
  2. I have extremely dry skin and use Vaseline Intensive Skin Therapy and Burt's Bees Hand Salve. Both are amazing!
  3. Hello! I am super sensitive to the WORLD (haha, aren't we all), and I drink Celestial Seasonings like it's my religion - among my favourites, lemon zinger. I have never had a problem... Maybe you're just feeling dingy from your cold? Either way, feel better.

  6. Hi, I am bumping this up because I have a question. How are the resources for you in Australia? I might be moving there, and I, obviously, am concerned about maintaining my progress towards getting healthy. Thanks!
  7. sometimes when i feel as though i am nauseated due to my stomach just needs to be 'emptied' i do use a suppository, also. it provides a lot of relief in that case... as though i needed to expell everything in there. does that make sense? i know it's detailed, but hey, our community of poop is what we are!
  8. I know the veggies cause bloating, but they don't cause brain fog, fatigue, and pain. Everything else does. I'll take the bloating.
  9. thank you so much for your reply. 110 is great, it's hard, i know.
  10. Interesting about gravol... One has gluten, and the other has lactose (the ones I have seen). Otherwise, I would use it. I use pepto for nausea.
  11. Hi Lauren, Congratulations on your strength. Because of the celiac, I lost a ton of weight, and my lowest was also 78lbs. I am also 5'7''. Do you mind if I ask what you're at now? How long did it take you to gain it back? Thanks
  12. I am allergic to rice, so I get the unsweetened soy one. Carrie - do you have the loblaws chain where you are? I got them at the Superstore, but they all have the same sales on, generally.
  13. I have a Black and Decker that I bought because it was on sale. It works well and does the job. I am going to get a new one soon becasue i am giving it to my mom, and I am checking out the new Cuisinart.
  14. I feel your pain. For breakfast every day, I can tolerate tangerines, only. Lunch is raw veggies and nut butter, as is dinner. I eat SO many because I am trying to fill up (over these two meals: one whole cabbage, four carrots, two zucchini, about 10 mushrooms, a whole thing of celery, two peppers, half a broccoli, half a cauliflower) and lo-nad behold...
  15. hey, natur-a was on sale this morning for half price! i bought three cases. we go through it like wild fire.
  16. It takes awhile, but eventually you can perfect your recipes. After about four tries, I nailed bread in the machine. I have a Black and Decker. They just came out with a Cuisinart one, that acutally has a gluten free setting.
  17. I live down the street from a market that is really, really big on selling gluten-free stuff. In addition, Sherk's is here, too.
  18. i've heard that soy lethicin is okay for those with a soy allergy. i drink almond breeze, but don't have a soy allergy. my friend, though, is very sensitive to soy and can drink almond breeze, too. sorry, i know this isn't too much help. maybe a little.
  19. i was doing some more thinking about this. in the summer, i am opening up business at our farmer's market with all gluten-free and dairy-free stuff. if it takes off, i want to open business, officially. anyway, i would be willing to cater the whole event.
  20. i think that, in the least, the initial idea of a get together, where we all bake and have a mini-convention sounds fun.
  21. I'm in. TO WIN! Ha! Just joking, but really, I'm in. I can help organize!
  22. that's very true. the only time i drink milk is in coffee. when i have cereal, i make tofu pudding and have it with that, i like it thicker.
  23. My brand says this on it's FAQ: "I am lactose intolerant and allergic to milk protein. Can i still use Bio-K+ ? Yes. In fact, research shows that a daily consumption of fermented dairy foods containing selected bacteria strains can reduce symptoms of lactose intolerance and dairy allergies. This happens because the lactose is fragmented or "predigested...
