  1. Most of Pillars are gluten-free (and casein free!) and they list all of the allergens, in addition to having a huge selection.

  6. hey Rachel, just so you know, the Bob's stuff that says gluten-free on the package are in a seperate facility from the stuff that isn't. there are, however, gluten-free products made in the non-gluten-free facility (carob, corn...) you just have to keep your eyes open. i learned the hard way. did i post my bread recipe?   12. as a rule of thumb, omitting xanthan works better in smaller baked goods... you might want to try pitas, bagels, buns, muffins, before a loaf of bread. can you have baking powder? or just soda? what about egg replacer? i can help you for sure - i just need more info

  17. Hi everyone, I contacted Jergens today and she said (immediately) that NONE of their products are gluten free, because everything is from outside sources.

    quinoa is fantastic - it's a super grain, and a full protein. you can buy it and cook it similar to rice, or buy it in flakes, or flour.
  23. If you can tolerate soy, Silk makes a creamer available in Original, Hazelnut, and Vanilla.

    hi! what kind of exercise do you enjoy doing? do you eat quinoa? it's an excellent source, same with buckwheat. do you bake and cook? you can make your own bars.
  25. I am not, by ANY means, discouraging feeding your kids (gotta make up for all lack of absorption!), but I do know that protein is more satisfying that foods with a higher glycemic index. Choosing something like pudding or nuts or a cheesestick will satisfy their appetites a little better.
