  1. Mango - long ago I emailed Amy's saying, "make us a gluten free, dairy free pizza!" their reply was that they were working on it - maybe this one is it!
  2. Most lactose-free milks are not dairy free. I drink Almond Breeze milk. It's delicious! However, almond milks are not very high in protein (they are actually very low), so if you are looking for one equivalent to cow's milk, I'd go with soy. I drink Natura Unsweetened Soy.
  3. I don't know... Sitting back and emailing a good friend? Going across the border? Heading to the outlets? Starting the Broker?
  4. Carriefaith........! I also got violently sick from that Outback. I've been to three different ones. That, Amherst NY and Niagara Falls, ON. I only got sick in Cambridge. (Kitchener).
  5. I take the dairy free BioK.

  9. Walnut Honey Bread Gluten-free, Milk-free I got this from:Open Original Shared Link But I'll do what I did in brackets, because that's how it turned out for me! Makes 1 loaf. 10. Bread: she's fluffy and light. lotsa fiber-y goodness. two step process. it ROSE. it isn't SOGGY inside. It looks, feels like bread! Crispy crust. Unfortunately, I cannot eat it! Made it for gluten-free mom, but I used rice flour in it and allergic to that. BUT, either way, my baking success makes me happy enough!!!
  11. I find that if I take it once, it uber helps the first night... Then after that I sleep very short hours the next few nights... So it helps the first day, then sort of screws me. If I take more, I get brutal insomnia.
  12. Hello! I take this. Did you want me to hook you up before you buy?
  13. Hi Roberta, I also have extremely dry skin and find Burt's Bees Hand Salve extremely efficient.
  14. They taste somewhat like oatmeal... I like adding fruit/raisins/nuts et cetera, and use soymilk with it. Mom eats them everyday for breakfast - she LOVES them. They aren't as thick as oats, though (at least the bran I buy). I also use them in oatmeal cookies and muffins.
  15. before i read who started the topic, i had a feeling this was you........... seriously.
  16. My mom has MS. My aunt (her sis) has MS. My uncle (her bro) has eyeritis. My grandma (her mom) has hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia. My grandpa (her dad) has heart disease. My sister has MS. My sister has IBS. My dad's side, we are pretty sure that he has celiac disease and perhaps his twin bro.
  17. It sure does make you feel a lot more comfy, eh? I use that one, too.
  18. I live in Ontario, Canada, currently. I would expect about 10$ an hour, however, that is give or take depending on what I would be doing, number of children, et cetera. I am willing to work whenever - things are somewhat up in the air right now. I'm 22 (23 in March) and graduating this year with a degree in music education. I have nannied before and babysat...
  19. I'm looking to do some travelling this summer and am thinking of getting a nanny job... Anyone need one?
  20. Hey Karen! I used Crest Whitestrips which a) worked well and are gluten-free. Get them at Costco though, they are very cheap there.
  21. Try getting in at the Lockwood Clinic. I was there for celiac last summer.
  22. hey, i'm allergic to buckwheat, and it's in the same family as rhubarb and sorrel (the Polygonaceae family). the 'safe grains' you can eat while consuming low salicylates are barley, buckwheat, millet, oats, rice, rye and wheat. so basically, you should be cool with buckwheat, millet and rice. i don't know if this helps, but i do know that bananas...
  23. hey Rachel - If you want, we can exchange things via email (I love to bake - and I have a lot of other restrictions with this diet). My email is laurie_sadowski at hotmail.com ... Or add me to MSN if you want
  24. Tim Horton's coffee and I don't agree. Perhaps I have gotten cross-contam there a few times - I try to avoid coffee places with 'open' pots. Anyway, I avoid it.

    ARCHIVED Outback

I've been to three. One I got severely glutened... I assume they made a mistake. One I felt a little crappy, so I am unsure. And one other one (yesterday, actually), I felt great! I have some diarreah today, though, which confused me... But I think it's just because I had a high fatty, fatty meal and I never eat saturated fats. But man.... Delicious
