My fiance and I are planning an Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon. Does anyone know a cruiseline that can easily (and willingly) accomodate a gluten-free diet? I usually take food when I travel, but I really don't want to have to worry about it while I'm supposed to be relaxin and enjoying the new hubby.... Thanks!

I always take or buy when I get there: tortilla chips rice cakes w/ a variety of toppings, fruit, veggies, trail mix, uncle bens in the pouch rice w/ pine nuts (long grain brown -- only 90 seconds in microwave) Pamela's kitchen lemon and almond biscotti (yum!! one of my favs) Glutino pretzels (I think I'm addicted) If I take cooler or... -

My symptoms - very similar to yours, John, although yours seem severe- didn't show up until about age 27...(a very stressful time for me)...and then progressively worsened until my diagnosis 3 years later... Sounds like gluten-free has helped you quite a bit...stick to it! Although tempted to cheat (often)...I have not intentionally ingested gluten in... -
Thank goodness, my doctors caught this RIGHT away -- I was diagnosed in April and went (and am still going) through the same feelings of What on Earth am I going to eat? I agree -- Tinkyada Pastas are terrific. My non-gluten-free boyfriend even requests it at times........ After existing on tostitos and rice cakes for a while I am slowly branching...

I'm "new" too......Is it true that "Natural Flavors" are only a concern in meat products or products potentially containing meat?
