    Until you heal your insides (from removing all gluten) ALL foods can cause you discomfort, gluten or not. It took me several months of diligence, and time to do some healing, to know what being "glutened" was all about. Or as, mentioned, it could be some cross contamination. But, if you were just diagnosed, I would go with the "I'm not healed" theory...

    Emily, take heart that dogs can fully recover from heart worms. What can harm a dog, is to give them heart worm preventative, while having active heart worms. You're in a better place, for recovery.

    An easy and quick fix, I am sorry to say, there is none! BUT, it beats being medicated! Your best bet is to be a quick learn on label reading.     Lipton is owned by Unilevel. Their policy is to always list wheat, barley, rye or malt in their ingredient listing. If you don't see it, it's not there. Only the Lipton Onion Soup is gluten free, as of last time I checked.

    A GI can see physical signs of damage, but a biopsy can miss effective areas and be inconclusive. Unfortunately, there are no tests available at this time that are considered 100%. Many times a diagnosis is cumulative through testing, dietary response and family history.

    I was told that ONLY the Administrator had access to that personal information. It's a good idea, to include that information in the registrations process....I am certain that it would make many new members a little bit more comfortable in this new cybernetic world.     Kix has been reformulated so that it no longer contains oats. However, the company has decided not to specifically label Kix as gluten-free nor claim it to be so, as cross-contamination is still a possibility.

    I can't wait to move back to Canada where HFCS is not so all pervasive as it is here in the US! The topic is "Heinz" and their current gluten free listing. It's helpful to many. High Fructose Corn Syrup is gluten free in the US.
