    ARCHIVED Maltodextrin

That criteria is proposed, in the US, and it not yet considered a legal standard. Any imported product is to comply with the FDA labeling law, which would include foreign products containing MSG.
  2. I ordered it when I was first diagnoses in 2005. There weren't many options to choose from at that time. Although helpful, I found it more regional and not my region. I also work with the Celiac Sprue Association in my area. It's a great place to volunteer too. (so I help them in other ways) I had the opportunity to review the Cecelia's Market Place...
  3. I don't have a problems with Cheetos, gluten wise. I order a hot dog at a resturant today and they said it was Gwaltney - ok. Then they put them in the fryer to cook them....Darn, how to ruin a good thing.
  4. I'm not quite sure how the connection works.
  5. Mine had projectile vomit....it hit the wall and slowly slid down.
  6. I heard that it was a trait of HIGH intellect! I have a high forhead, much more as I age. I must be getting smarter!
  7. Welcome to the Club! You are not back to square one, you're going to take your first steps toward recovery. Positive bood work is diagnostic, in itself. A biopy can miss affected areas, and cannot rule out Celiac. Now you can start the gluten free diet. A positive dietary results is confirmation as well of Celiac. Take a walk around this...

  12. That's absurd! Politics does not fare well here. Might be best to stay on topic. I'll take my own advise. Can't recall being seriously sick in the last five years. I have gotten the flu shot once. But, I'm very pleased and relieved that my seven month pregnant daughter was able to get the H1N1.
  13. Rule #1 No cross over allowed MIKE!
  14. You better!!! A hour and a half is my home, but we spend lots of time in Kitty Hawk. I can come to YOU! Laura has been there several times with us.
  15. When she developed a following I wanted to ditch. Opted for the more sophisticated choice. Please welcome my friend Mike. He has a family member that may share our affliction. He knows me from High School, and I have threatened him with his life if he ....well you know. He is a true Sillie! And Peter needs some male bonding.
  16. Fear not Sillies, he's a friend of mine.
  17. Open Original Shared Link 7) Are Diamond products gluten free? All Diamond-branded nut products are gluten free. Our Diamond of California bread products, however, are made with flour, which contains gluten. Within the Emerald Premium Snack line, four products contain gluten. They are Emerald Honey Dijon Glazed Walnuts 'n Cashews, Emerald Backyard...
  18. Now, some who are super sensitive may react to the possible cross contamination. It's not something that I worry about too much.
  19. First, let me say that I'm not much of a baker. In fact, if it's doesn't come out of a box, it doesn't happen in my home. I used Betty Crocker Gluten Free Chocolate Cake Mix Added, in addition to directions on the box (with a touch of less water): I cup of fig jam 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. all spice 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 T rum extract Serve...
  20. Just because something is processes in a facility with wheat, does not necessarily mean that they are not gluten free. More often than not, it's a CYA statement.
  21. What about some hummus? I love carrotts dipped in peanut butter.
  22. I do the same as Patti, but use the Micro. And toss strands with butter, sal and pepper and parmesan cheese. Fresh veggie are good anyway you make them. Simple is good. Nice thread Bea!
