  3. Caramel color should not be a gluten issue. Some people have issues with dairy, while they heal. I can't crawl in your shoes, but it took me about six months before I got a grasp on the diet. 6. A typical CYA statement. Many companies will not list a products as gluten free unless they test and can verify it status by those means. With no gluten containing ingredients, I would consider it gluten free.
  7. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  8. There are no "treatment" centers. As you know, the only treatment is controlled by what you ingest. Here is some information you may be interested in. Open Original Shared Link
  9. Looks good! I cook mine in Swanson's Chicken Broth (substituted from the water as directed) . With a little butter, it's a great side dish for anything.
  10. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  11. I suppose I can't say "ALL", but I don't know of a reason why cooking wine would contain gluten. But, always read the label.
  12. Thanks Janet for that post. I did find lots of option that I will take with me. Grilled Vegetable Salad with Shrimp sounds great! I have talked to the manager in the past and he was exceptionally accomodating.
  13. I know that they do not have a specific gluten free menu, but does anyone know of acceptable options off their general menu (or with adjustments)? I have a lunch date tomorrow and having trouble finding anything online. Thanks

Yes, I do. If I did not, I would find another one who does. If Enterolabs is your chosen avenue, I think that's great. For those of you with time, educate yourself and make the best informed choice for you and your family, whatever direction that may be. My opinion is not set in concrete. I still am anxiously awaiting independent peer review of...

  20. I can't answer your specific question, but it's evident by your improving symptoms on the gluten free diet, that you either have a gluten allergy, gluten sensitivity or Celiac. Enterolabs will not be able determine which of those three you suffer from. They may determine that you have selective sensitivities to various foods. I am not a fan of...

  24. Here are some changes in the gluten free status of products published in their Guide 2008/09 and . This is the downfall of Lists. Products can change without warning. I applaud Cecelia's for their diligence in updating their Guide, post publication. Learning to read lables will never fail you. The 2009/10 edition is out . Please note the 10/09 corrections...
  25. I have never seen any substantial source to support this theory. Sometimes, ya never know what can make you feel ill. I react to red wine with beef, as does my non Celiac husband, but it's not a gluten issue. Alcohol serves as a solvent in your body. It can be very harsh on a compromised digestive system.
