  1. If you have read some of the threads here, you know tht it's a frequent topic here. Many people here have used Enterolab after their Celiac Panel and Endoscopy exams were inconclusive. For some, it's a piece of the puzzle. If you are looking for a diagnosis for Celiac, that's not what they do. Some here, are please with their results for food sensitivity...
  2. GREAT Suggestions Dave. Very good! I knew a good Irishman would come up with something. I should say, it's for a wedding, BUT I'm all up for some humor.
  3. Get of full metabolic panel to check for deficiencies. Often times low B-12 can effect your speech and your gait. I had trouble articulating and walking. I got over it with some B-12 injections initially. Now a multivitamin is all I take.
  4. I would suggest the Triumph Dining Grocery Guide. You can find it at www.triumphdining.com or through the Gluten Free Mall on this site. EDIT: It's not free, but worth every penny.
  5. What is the funnies thing you have seen printed on a beer or drink Koozie? I want to print some for an upcoming event and want to be creative and humorous. Any fun suggestions?
  6. Smoking and drinking can also effect the blood cells.
  7. This is a great source. This was posted in 2006, but I assume the diet is still appropriate: Open Original Shared Link
  8. Lea & Perrins in Canada is NOT gluten free. In the US it IS gluten free....as janetw mentioned, but it deserves another shout out. I forget sometimes also, that we have an international Forum. Campbell's Canada and Campbell"s US is another example of differing gluten free products.
  9. There is also a calendar with special events at the bottom of the home page celiac.com

  13. I guess you will have to go to the Silly Thread to find out about Sam Hill.... Some have actually read the WHOLE thread.. https://www.celiac.com/gluten-free/index.php?showtopic=24490
  14. No, but I don't think that it's common for gluten to be contained in "natural flavors", but possible. Wheat, by law, must be listed, but barley, malt and rye do not at this time.
  15. Modified Food Starch in the US is generally derived from corn. If otherwise, by law it must be listed as "Modified Food Starch (wheat). Barley and malt would not be a player here. So for the most part, if you don't see "wheat", it should be no problem.
  16. It's possible. But, not all roads lead to Rome.
  17. Only through my eyes can I believe. I have found Olive Garden to be one of the largest, most unfriendly, restaurant there is. They withdrew their gluten free menu. Redemption can be a good thing. But, I think I'll wait a while
  18. We have had several member living in or traveling to China. You can do a quick search on this site from post replies: https://www.celiac.com/gluten-free/index.php?showtopic=44664
  19. I took some probiotics after I was first diagnosed and I couldn't handle them. A years later, I found some which were diary free and I didn't have a problem. Did you contact the manufacturer to check on their gluten free status? I'm not quite sure why berries should be off limites and certainly they are not a gluten issue. Keep a food journal and...
  20. https://www.celiac.com/articles/181/1/Safe-...ents/Page1.html MSG is on the Safe List for Celiacs.
  21. Open Original Shared Link MSG Monosodium glutamate is a flavoring made through the fermentation of corn, sugar beets, or sugar cane. It is gluten-free If a product with MSG is of a foreign source, it would have to comply with FDA Regulations, disclosing "wheat". If Chinese, (if I'm not mistaken) it may be derived from seaweed, and not one of the...
  22. No gluten in MSG. Not real good for you, but no gluten. AND, no ignorant questions here. Any question is a good one, because 100 other people thought about asking the same question.
  23. There are defined stages of dealing with Celiac. At first, I was confused and had to learn what Celiac Disease was after my diagnosis. Then, I felt a sense of relief that I did not have a life threatening disease. And I remember standing in the middle of the isle in the grocery story and getting so angry with my eyes filling with tears. The learning...
