    Hello and Welcome: Reaction widely varies between people. When I was sick, reaction was about a half-hour. I was housebound for about two months.     As far as I am concerned or informed, it's the primary symptom of Celiac. But, I'm not as quick as others, but it has adapted well to my use. And use it every opportunity appropriate.

For instance: When, I posted about "putting up corn" Susan was all over me "like white on rice". A few hours later a strong thunder storm came through .. it "was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock in a rain storm"....

    It's a southern thing. But none of my friends do it, they just go out to eat. For a sample, get some corn on cob. Cook slightly. Sharp knife, cut of one layer of corn all around, Take your knife and scrape the sides of the cob..to get all the rest and the milky juice out. Put it in a pan with some bacon grease, add a little water, butter salt and pep...

    Question to the technoids....... Karen, can you take one of the wedding pict I sent you and put it on my avitar. I am sooo tech challenged. Don't even know know to put a dig pict on the computer. Is it possible for someone else to do it for me. Even if someone told me how to do it, the brain would not connect.

    Hey, In Rachelville, can we have corn shuckers (yes, shuckers ) I've go six dozen corn on the cob to put up. Shuck, blanch, cool, cut and cream and freeze....an all day event. It's spinach when you're doing it, but on a cold winter night...it's soooo good. Can we get the bum on the outskirts of town (forget who that is) to be the town shucker...

    Cool, my brother lives and works in Shanghai. The city is so international and cosmopolitian, I am sure you will have no problems, as many if not most speak English.

    Shoot richard, do you know the prime ribs that I passed by. Uhh But good to hear from you. On second thought, I don't think that restaurants have mcCormicks too expensive. Generic brand, I believe. But in the home pantry, will toss out any other. Thanks. Is it any cooler in those hills then it is on the flat lands.?
