  1. You know, I have often wondered whether he is French or North American living in France. His English is perfect. I think that I shall ask him. What do ya think Steve?
  2. Now THAT is a great suggestion. There is one of sorts on the opening page. I remember when I started posting here...and how wonderful to "talk" to someone that actually new what I was talking about. Lisa
  3. Jen: wrote you. Lisa
  4. With the new labeling laws only Wheat will be listed........rye, barley, malt is not required. So if a product is wheat free, it may not be gluten free. On this site on the "front page", there is a safe, and forgidden list. That may be helpful to you. Kraft, Hormel are good "listing" companies. Sorry this is so brief, but got to go. Others will...

  6. Count me in on check'in out of this one. Whew! Lisa
  7. Chelsea: Oh know, this is forbidden. You can't fink out on us now. You were one of my first contacts. You have sooooo much to offer. Just think about when you were first DX, and where did you go? There are 10'sx10's everyday that wake up and asked themselves "what is wrong with me"? Walk away from the chat room, but don't walk away from the people...
  8. Enough is enough, I thing the avenue is exhausted. Pointes were made, accepted or rejected. But the bottom line here is that it is time to close this tread. There are newbies out there and they need our help. If you are spending time on a "go no where subject", you are not available to help others. All of you, remember where you began here on this...
  9. Welcome Adelle: I just wanted to add that the poster "Nini" has a gluten free startes list, that has lots of great information for those begining the diet. Just remember, being gluten free, is not all about food. Gluten can be found the shampoos, soap, cat food, dog food, face creams and and basically anything that can get into your mouth. Do a...

  11. I am sorry it's so short, but hey, I didn't do the research work. Two cheers to them
  12. A: If it is not the Aleive, or Aciphex then I think it is going to a cassin issue, but the stress can't be ruled out. I look like I could give birth in a few months, at my age, it could be a record. If I remember correctly, once going gluten free, other intollerants may show up. If I have to give up butter, I will just die. I had...
  13. Is this what is making me sick? I can't figure where the gluten is comming from, but I am having a strong reaction. Lisa and to continue...Aciphex.
  14. Vincent: My best advise to you is to learn how to channel that energy in a productive manner, reading, art, hands on puzzels, small tool (age approp), lego's are great and a good parent child activity. At 3 yrs old, you have a long road ahead of you. Keep those hands busy with productive and learning activities. When my Catherine was in grade school...
  15. I do think that it was something that he ate that was green. If I drink some V-8, the next day I will have red poop, and if I have beets for dinner, whoa, you would think that I would call a doctor. I think not to worry until he has celiac issues Perhaps yes, green kool-aid. Lisa
  16. Eating gluten free can be a very complicated issue. Let me say first, if you have damage to your intestines, it will take several months to heal. You may not know whether you have been glutened or not, between the healing process and eating well. Does that make sence? It took me almost 8 months to really feel that I have been glutened...or to know...
  17. I don't know what brand you used, but to be on the safe side, don't use any package gravey or dried packaging, unless you know the true source or call the company. Often there are ingredences that most of us cannot pronounce. The rule here is, when in doubt, don't. I am sorry that you are feeling bad, and believe me, WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE.......and...
  18. We sometimes get fish (salmon, tuna) from Indonesia.......ugghh. And I am sorry to say, I am thinking sumomi. I don't buy. We do buy salmon from Sam's, but we buy it frozen. Season it, Smoke it on the "green-egg" and it is soooo good. No restaurant could touch it.
  19. Hebrew Nat. are ok.......enjoy.

I'm the wet poopie and have been know to mistake a big fat fart ( or even the small silent ones ) for a.........need to get to the bathroom in 4.0 seconds and got there in 4.5..........ooops. 23. I would take one in the morning with food. If you need additional relief in the evening you may take a pepsid, but no more. In a few days you you feel the relief if reflux is the problem. Lisa
  24. The one thing that I really miss is good dining out.... yah know, sauces and such. Carriefaith has some really good guten free recipies on here. Check it out. Gluten free doesn't have to be boring by no means, just sometimes a little different. Tonight we had Boars's Head smoked sausage (listed as gluten free, yeah for them and we should support them...
