  1. Yup...bite them little heads off.
  2. Cindy: I could only assume that wall paper paste is water and a flour base as is standard glue. I would suggest that you wash your hands frequently and watch out for slatters toward your face. Good luck. And be careful.
  3. Thanks guys, working it out as we speak It is sooo hard to go to functions and be polite. Everyone noticed that I was not eating, so I tried to look around and try what I though would be safe. As in the "Indiana Jones movie".....I choose poorly. Another lesson learned. Ugg, again. Feel better now though. A good night speep and I should be good to...
  4. Okay.......ranch dressing with one carrott or punch with Hawaiian punch in it. So where is the gluten. Returned home and had the big D and BIGGER stomach. My bet it was the punch. What do you think? Shamoo tonight.
  5. Bla..........An hour later, it was not a pretty sight. Just thought I would pass that on, or am I the only dumb butt on site.
  6. We are doing a wedding for my daughter June 10........Some gluten, others not. Grilled smoked pork tenderloin on the grill a head of time with gluten free dry rub (Emeriles), Polenta, or wild rice - Fresh tomatoes with Motzzerela cheese - sp?, with a gluten free vineagar/balsamic dressing with fresh parsley or basel. - Cheese and pate's with various crackers...
  7. No, but we have one of those "Green Eggs" and I have never eated so well from the grill. It is soooo good....!!! Smoked Salmon like your have never had, pork, steak...
  8. I really don't know the reason for the afternoon bloat. When I had bathroom issues it came after lunch and perhaps thay may be my connection. Around 4:00 I take a zantac and that help me subside the bloat sort of, but it helps. Breakfast and dinner have never been an issue for me, but lunch (ususally a rice cake with PB&J and some jello) is always...
  9. Yeah, richard, you just made my day. A no cook dinner, what a relief. Thanks.
  10. I still don't understand the Probiotics. Rachel, can you spell it out for me in laymens terms. I think that you have to take Pro to counter the Anti-B, when you need them....other than that I don't know. Should I be taking them now . Lisa
  11. Oh my God, we have caught and captured a doctor. I am glad Radman likes active discussion or he'd be out of here in a flash. Once again welcome to the board, I think. It is obvious that many of us like to bounce things off you and glad for your responses. Hang in there Radman, learn and pass the word. Glad you're here. Lisa.
  12. Perhaps you should eliminate dairy from your diet for a while and see if you feel better. You mentioned cheese alot in your post. Hope you feel better soon.
  13. Very very true. I had never heard of Celiac Disease before mine kicked in, as I am sure many others were in the same boat. If it were not for the interet and this site, I would still be in the bathroom thinking I was dying of cancer.
  14. Radman: I for one am tickeled silly to have a doctor on board. Welcome, welcome, welcome. I have been hanging around this site for about 7 months and the folks here extremely intellegent, dilligent and wonderfully caring. I think that you will find this as well. Before dx with Celiac, I literally could not leave my house. (The bathroom as...
  15. I would think that a diognosis would be necessary. I don't know if diognosis would ease his mind, or otherwise. But it certainly would help him with insurance issues. As far as the ADA rules...I have no clue. Life can be cruel sometimes. I am sorry.

    ARCHIVED Quote Of The Day

Holy Cow Shirley....I can't imagine what I would have said. He must have been 99 years old and just got off the Saratogga Wagen Trail, or widowed for 79 years. Hah

    ARCHIVED Quote Of The Day

Doctor: "What are the symptoms of Sprue?" I think he needs to hire me.
  19. Okay, I agree. But the person who began the thread wants answers to his questions. What I would suggest that you start a new thread in anything but Celiac Chat Thread and we can go for it. Believe me, being raised Catholic, I have plenty to say, but I may reserve my opinion because it may be offensive to some of the people I care about. I have very...
  20. My most annoying symptom is when my husband askes me in the morning if I want a biscuit from McDonalds, then says...."oh I forgot".
  21. Thank you very very much....I don't think I like it though
  22. I would just like to say that being raised Catholic, I understand the topic. I feel stongly that the laws of the church were designed by men, not God. Your faith is yours and attending church and not recieving communion, in my thought, does not deminish your faith or make you different. I have seen too many good Catholics recieve communion and stab their...
  23. Just made Hominy Corn Chowder. It looks like dried cracked corn. I just looked at the ingredence and it does not indicate anything. I know there are no dumb questions........but? Help, I have been tasting all day. Lisa
  24. SPECIFICALLY, I can't recall although it was in one of my several gluten free books. (perhaps they were refering to the the Draft, should it come up).
