  1. Sounds very similar. I am not a doctor and don't want to interfere with what you have been told to do but.....if you DO have Celiac Disease, the fiber pills will only make your symptoms worse. Ask your doctor to give you a blood test for celiac disease, it is not always conclusive, but it may give you a place to start. Other people here on the site can...
  2. Thanks Carrie for your info on Tylenol. That will help. I stopped that until I was totally assured that it was gluten-free. Lisa B.

I try to scramble my brain for another choice of wording...

    ARCHIVED Doctors

Hey Guys: I know that alot of you have been walking in my shoes before me, but frustration leads me to write this post. After 27 years, dig. with IBS by my prim. Doc. he finally realized that my symptoms were out of his ability to diognose. He sent me to a GI doc. in the next town. GI Doc. did a endocopy, colinoscopy, and biopsy. The biopsy was...
  6. For those of you who crave the taste of pasta. Buy spaghetti squash, poke holes through it to let out steam and micro. it. When soft, cut in half, remove seeds. Take a fork and scrape the squash. It will look like spaghetti. Put in a bowl and toss with salt, pepper, butter and fresh graded parm. cheese. -- really good. Lisa B.
  7. Annie: Check the Safe/Forbidden list on this site. It will list safe "spirits". Have a good picnic. Lord knows, we all need "good spirits". Lisa B
  8. Hello People: Does anyone know if there is a printed/published Delfi gluten-free Product List (other that what can be printed off the computer).? I have several friends and family members who would like a copy. There must be something in a booklet/book form that you can carry around with you. 13. Kaitie: You are good for this question. I just posted a response to Dove. Instead of repy, I sent in on "Report". I thought that would be posted without the previous quoted letter. Guess not. How do you respond without using the repy which included the letter being addressed. Make sense? Lisa B.
  14. Hey Lisa: Even I get confused. How about you be Lisa and I will be Lisa B. Is that good for you.? We often have the same question and the same name response. But I am the one who can't spell. I don't want to inflict that pre-dispostion on you. I also feel that it may be confusing to people who respond to us. So...If you agree, you be Lisa and...
  15. Haven't been sick like that in sooo long. I do think that with a compromised system the off season oyster were not a good choice or the bar switched my choice (my new choice ) of drink. 17. Please look at the previous topic of "Tums". I feel there would be more interest in topic "Antacids. Please look and if you have imput or informations, would welcome advise, comment or concerns. Lisa
  18. Just prescribed by my gastro dr. with Aciphex. (rabeprazole sodium). I take Prilosec, and pepcid. Prob o.d.ing on antacids. I started this topic with questions about tums. I don't know anything about the contents that my doc's have suggested or prescribed, but I think we all should look into these. Sometimes, the more I feel blouted, the more I take antacids...

  20. Just a quick question for anyone on line. Mustards still confuse me. Is Grey Poupon ok. It lists vinegar (not distilled) and mustard seeds. Got really sick yesterday and stayed in bed all day with headache, fever and bathroom trips. (could have been oysters out of season). - or could that have been a gluten attach -- fever? Any quick advise would...
