  1. Did you ever find out if there was a connection back to celiac? I’ve had celiac since 2011, hospitalized for blood pressure in 2014 did all kinds of testing and couldn’t figure out why, put me on meds that controlled it, had my son in 2018 and had preeclampsia and then a really hard time getting it to come down and switched all my meds but got it back und...

  4. @ChipotleTweets Something to carefully consider then. Lots of celiacs love your restaurant. No chips would really stink.

  5. @SCHARglutenfree when you pay over $5 for 4 buns you expect them to be usable https://t.co/guxxBMzwnf

  7. @BreckConditions is the Gold Runner Coast open today? If so what are the hours?

  8. I was just curious if you could share what was going on that you thought you had lupus but it was celiac related? The reason I ask is that I was diagnosed with Celiac in April of 2012 but my mom refused to get tested because "she's never had any problems with her stomach" which I tried explaining that doesn't have anything to do with it but she wouldn't...
  9. I had a really hard time with my diagnosis so I am sorry to hear that you are as well. I was diagnosed in April of 2012 and went through a divorce in September of 2012 so was trying to deal with two of the hardest things in my life in the same year. I was talking with a psychologist once a week and he helped me a lot with the divorce but not really with...
  10. I saw this post from Gluten Free Mama on Saturday and tried the corn salsa and spincach & artichoke dips and they were delicious & easy! Maybe you can try to make something next time that you can eat as well! Recipes: Open Original Shared Link Good Luck!
  11. Any gluten-free probiotics should be fine.
  12. Question - does anyone with Celiac ever eat Chipotle? I always ask them to change their gloves and get a bowl - no flour tortilla - however - I feel like I've been Glutened and that Chipotle is the Culprit. Can anyone share their Chipotle gluten-free experience so those of us with Celiac know if it is safe or not? Thank you!! Jordan
  13. I was diagnosed in April 2012 and went gluten-free immediately - I am now just comfortable with my diet (gluten & lactose free). It took a long time to get comfortable eating outside of my own kitchen. I question everything; max & ermas had a "gluten-free Salmon" however when I asked about the suspicious sauce I was told it had soy sauce in it (hidden...
  14. Boost is a great meal supplement (gluten and lactose free) - I carry one and drink it if I get too busy to eat (taste better col though so leave room in your cooler for a few!)
  15. I like your post! CeliacAwareness! Posted to my FB page and told all my family/friends to read if they wanted to know what living with Celiac feels like. You have no idea until you are directly affected! Thank you!
